Apparatus for suspending items from a mantel or shelf
A decorative accessory holder for suspending decorations such as Christmas ornaments, stockings, lights, garland and the like from a mantel or shelf. The holder comprises a telescoping rod assembly with a clamping mechanism and end leg spring members adapted to fit securely over the upper surface of a mantel under tension, with a gap between the rod assembly and the upper surface of the mantel for inserting one or more detachable decoration holders such as hooks.

Easy tooless installed curtain rod for window
An easy tooless installed curtain rod for window, includes an elongated tubular member having a hollow chamber at an inner end. A coil spring is placed within the hollow chamber of the elongated tubular member. A short tubular sleeve slides over the inner end of the elongated tubular member to engage with the coil spring. A pair of round metal stoppers is provided. The first stopper fits onto a distal end of the elongated tubular member and the second stopper fits onto a distal end of the short tubular sleeve. A curved handle is affixed onto a side of the short tubular sleeve. When the curved handle is manually pulled or twisted inwardly, the short tubular sleeve will compress the coil spring to provide tension and flexibility between the pair of round metal stoppers which can be positioned to bear against opposite side walls of a window, so that a curtain can hang on the elongated tubular member that is secured within the window.

IMPROVEMENTS IN OR RELATING TO SHOWER RODS
The invention provides a method of mounting a shower curtain rod, and/or a shower curtain rod assembly, that includes an adhesive support to supplement the conventional mounting. The adhesive support is preferably incorporated in caps that cover the junctions between the rod and the walls between which the rod is mounted.
Locking telescoping rod
A compression lock assembly for an adjustable length rod assembly with inner and outer tubes is provided. The compression lock assembly has an adapter adapted to be connected to rotate with the inner tube. An elastomeric ring with an inner opening and outer diameter is concentric and disposed coaxially with the adapter. A threaded fastener extends through the elastomeric ring and is fixed to the adapter. A lock nut is disposed about the threaded fastener and fixed to rotate with the elastomeric ring. The locking nut moves along the threaded fastener to compress the elastomeric ring and expand the outer diameter from a first diameter to a second diameter greater than the first diameter as the elastomeric ring is rotated relative to the adapter.
