Recombinant components and compositions for use in food products
Provided are methods for producing food products comprising recombinant components, and compositions used in and food products produced by such methods.
VARIANT ENZYMES AND USES THEREOF
The present disclosure relates to variant lipolytic enzymes, more particularly variant lipolytic enzymes that have improved stability and/or improved hydrolytic activity on a polyester. Such variant lipolytic enzymes find use in the degradation of polyesters, such as polyethylene terephthalate. Also provided are compositions and methods related to such variant lipolytic enzymes.
NOVEL ESTERASES AND USES THEREOF
The present invention relates to novel esterase, more particularly to esterase variants having improved thermostability compared to the esterase of SEQ ID NO: 1 and the uses thereof for degrading polyester containing material, such as plastic products. The esterases of the invention are particularly suited to degrade polyethylene terephthalate, and material containing polyethylene terephthalate.
NOVEL ESTERASES AND USES THEREOF
The present invention relates to novel esterase, more particularly to esterase variants having improved activity compared to the esterase of SECS ID NO: 1 and the uses thereof for degrading polyester containing material, such as plastic products. The esterases of the invention are particularly suited to degrade polyethylene terephthalate, and material containing polyethylene terephthalate.
POLYPEPTIDE VARIANTS
Detergent compositions including polypeptide variants and methods of cleaning and/or treatment of surfaces using such compositions, and fabric treatment compositions including polypeptide variants. The compositions may include surfactants: anionic, nonionic and/or cationic.
Fusion Protein Construct
The disclosure provides constructs comprising a first fusion protein, a second fusion protein, and a linker, wherein the first fusion protein and the second fusion protein each include an affinity reagent and a reactive enzyme, and the linker includes a first and second functional groups specific for irreversibly inhibiting the first and second fusion protein reactive enzymes. The disclosure further provides a method including (a) contacting a first fusion protein including an affinity reagent and a reactive enzyme with a linker including a functional group specific for irreversibly inhibiting the first fusion protein reactive enzyme thereby coupling the first fusion protein and the linker, and (b) contacting a second fusion protein including an affinity reagent and a reactive enzyme with the linker, the linker including a functional group specific for irreversibly inhibiting the second fusion protein reactive enzyme thereby coupling the second fusion protein and the linker.
NON-DESTRUCTIVE SEED GENOTYPING
Described herein are methods and means for reliably releasing maternal and/or paternal DNA from single seeds without substantially affecting the subsequent germination of the seeds. The methods are particularly suited for genome analysis of small grain cereals, including wheat. The methods may include enzymatic treatments for improved DNA recovery.
ENZYME IMMOBILIZATION IN HIERARCHICAL METAL-ORGANIC FRAMEWORKS
Enzyme-immobilizing MOFs and methods for their use in enzymatically catalyzed reactions are provided. The MOFs are channel-type MOFs that present a hierarchical pore structure comprising a first set of large channels sized for enzyme immobilization and a second set of smaller channels running alongside of the large channels that remain enzyme-free and allow for reactant delivery to the enzymes and product expulsion from the larger channels.
DETERGENT COMPOSITIONS COMPRISING LIPASES
Detergent compositions that include a lipase variant of a parent lipase which has lipase activity and includes one or more substitutions corresponding to G23S, D27N, A40, F51I,L, E56R, D57N, V60E,K, K98I, N101D, R118, G163S, T231R, N233R, Y220F, T244E, and P256T using SEQ ID NO: 2 for numbering. Water-soluble unit dose articles including water-soluble film and a detergent composition including lipase variants. Methods of cleaning and/or treatment of surfaces using such compositions.
COMPOSITION WITH IMPROVED MOISTURE MANAGEMENT PERFORMANCE
The present invention relates to cleaning and fabric conditioning compositions comprising at least one lipolytic enzyme having polyesterase activity and at least one additional ingredient. The compositions described herein are suitable for use in cleaning and fabric conditioning processes and include detergent compositions, such as laundry detergent compositions, in particular liquid laundry detergent compositions, and softener compositions. The present invention further relates to a method for cleaning or conditioning textiles and to the use of the cleaning composition according to the invention for improving the thermophysiological properties and/or increasing hydrophilicity of textiles and fabrics as well as the corresponding methods.
