A piercing tool can be used by optionally replacing a distal end portion, which is to be first brought into abutment against an object to be pierced such as the ground, and can facilitate a replacement operation of the distal end portion. A piercing tool includes: a distal end portion, which has a cylindrical shape, and is to be first brought into abutment against an object; and a main body portion, which has a cylindrical shape at the main body portion, and has one end portion to which the distal end portion is mounted, wherein the distal end portion is removably mounted to the one end portion of the main body portion. The distal end portion has an inner peripheral surface having a female thread formed at an end portion of the distal end portion on a side to be mounted to the main body portion.

A turf aerator footwear kit including a footwear body, such as a boot, having an outsole disposed on an entire sole of the footwear body with threaded receptacles disposed in the outsole and a plurality of at least one of a first spike and a second spike, wherein each of the plurality of first spikes and the plurality second spikes is engageable to a respective one of the plurality of threaded receptacles. Each first spike and each second spike has a solid substantially frustoconical shaft and central shank, respectively, with a concave wall between a respective flat top end and flat bottom end and a flat upper end and flat lower end. A plurality of spiking tines coaxially extends from the central shank of each second spike. At least two of a pair of the spiking tines is disposed on diametrically opposite sides of the bottom edge.

A device and method for loosening compacted soil, a plurality of tubular devices made from a resiliently compressible material having a hollow hub with a series of radially and circumferentially curving blades extending from the hub, a plurality of devices arranged in an array in soil to cause loosening of the soil as it seasonally expands and contracts and causes compression and subsequent expansion of the devices which in turn loosens the soil sufficiently to aerate the soil.

A gardening tool is described comprising a base having a substantially flat plate with a face surface and a back surface; and one or more tines connected to and extending substantially perpendicular to a horizontal plane of the face surface of the flat plate. In some embodiments, the base of the tool is formed into a crescent shape.

An aerator device. The aerator device includes a manifold including an interior channel, a connector aperture, and a plurality of nozzles configured to discharge a pressurized fluid stream. A cover plate is disposed on an upper side of the manifold. A first connector includes a first open end in fluid communication with the interior channel and a second end extending through a connector aperture disposed on an upper side of the cover plate. A second connector is configured to receive a hose connection to a pressurized fluid supply. A wheel including a wheel height adjustment mechanism is affixed to each side portion of the cover plate. In one embodiment, the manifold is configured to rotate when the wheels of the device rotate via a drive roller. A handle extending rearwardly from the cover plate includes a trigger mechanism configured to activate the flow of fluid from a pressurized fluid source.

Disclosed is a self-cleaning lawn spike, which includes a shoe board, a bottom surface of the shoe board having a plurality of vertically downward protruding cleats, a floating board is disposed below the shoe board, and the floating board is provided with through holes corresponding to cleats one by one, and the cleats are movably connected to corresponding through holes; a rebound device is disposed between the shoe board and the floating board; the rebound device pushes the floating board downward, but not beyond the tips of the cleats, effectively removing leaves, soil and other debris caught on the cleats during puncturing.

A golf green repair tool having a plurality of spears centered around a plurality of tines. The tines and spears are biased by a spring inside a housing and sleeve. When the cap the housing is pressed by the foot of a greenskeeper or golfer the spring is compressed forcing the tines and spears into the turf. The tines are inserted around the periphery of the ball-mark to aerate and loosen the turf. The spears are inserted into the center of the ball-mark and aerate and pull the bottom of the ball-mark to the level of the surrounding turf. The bottom side of the ground-contacting sleeve pressed down the raised rim of the ball-mark correcting the entire ball-mark to the level of the surrounding turf.

An apparatus for removing weeds from the ground is described. The apparatus comprises an elongated shaft assembly with a top end attachable to a rotary driver; a helix mounted at a lower end of the elongated shaft, the helix shaped and sized to capture weed root material; and an anchoring structure assembly. The elongated shaft assembly is secured within the anchoring structure assembly and is able to rotate and translate longitudinally with respect to the anchoring structure assembly. The helix, when rotationally driven by the rotary driver, threads into the ground around the weed root material to capture the weed root material for removal from the ground.

An apparatus for an improved hand tool device wherein a rotatable apparatus may rotate the rotating handle apparatus in 15 degree increments to adjust to the user to help reduce the risk of injury and increase power application while gardening by adjusting and creating a favorable angle between the ground and the point of entry of the hand tool device into the ground.
