There is disclosed a lawn apparatus. In an embodiment, the lawn aerator apparatus, comprises: a plurality of lawn aerator mounting wheels configured to rotate independently, each lawn aerator mounting wheel having one of five or six tines mounted thereto; a lawn aerator chassis for mounting the plurality of lawn aerator wheels on a fixed structural shaft, each lawn aerator wheel having a sleeve with bearings; and a handle for operating the lawn aerator apparatus by turning the plurality of lawn aerator wheels about the fixed structural shaft.

The curved blade portion includes a concave first edge and an opposed convex second edge, wherein the concave first edge includes (i) a proximal first edge portion, (ii) a distal first edge portion proximal the tip of the aeration tine, and (iii) a middle first edge portion between the proximal first edge portion and the distal first edge portion, the middle first edge portion closer to the central axis than both the proximal first edge portion and the distal first edge portion.

A seeder to be mounted on a cultivating machine, for example an aerator, the seeder including: a seed box for containing seed; a mixer assembly inside the seed box to mix the seed; a seed gate movable between an open position and a closed position to regulate flow of the seed, where the seed gate is positioned near a cultivating tool when mounted on the cultivating machine and allows seed to be deposited into or in front of an area being cultivated; and where the seed gate is substantially the same width as the cultivating tool when mounted on the cultivating machine.

Driven and non-driven rotatable tine assemblies for a turf aerator

Tines (120) of tine assemblies (100a, 100b, 104) are secured by a single bolt (126) extending diametrically through each tine (120) located in a cavity (112) of a tine plate (110), through the tine plate (110) and through an attachment ring (130). The attachment ring (130) of an outer tine assembly (104) is connected to a sleeve (116) rotatably mounted adjacent the outer ends on each of two independently rotatable shafts (102) to which inner tine assemblies (100a, 100b) are rotatably connected adjacent the inner ends of the two independently rotatable shafts (102). The attachment rings (130) of the inner tine assemblies (100a, 100b) are welded to the two independently rotatable shafts (102).

A dethatcher includes a frame having a front and a rear end, a handle coupled to the frame and movable between a use position and a storage position, multiple wheels coupled to the frame, a cutting reel housed in the frame, and an engine for powering a drive mechanism of the shaft. The cutting reel includes a shaft having a first end and a second end, at least one cutting mechanism located between the first end and the second end of the shaft, and the drive mechanism for powering the shaft. When the handle is in the use position, the handle extends away from the front end of the frame and when the handle is in the storage position the handle extends toward the front end of the frame.

Turf Aerator Having Driven and Non-Driven Rotatable Tine Assemblies

Tines (120) of tine assemblies (100a, 100b, 104) are secured by a single bolt (126) extending diametrically through each tine (120) located in a cavity (112) of a tine plate (110). An outer tine assembly (104) is connected to a sleeve (116) rotatably mounted adjacent the outer ends on each of two independently rotatable shafts (102) to which inner tine assemblies (100a, 100b) are rotatably connected adjacent the inner ends of the two independently rotatable shafts (102). Thus, the outer tine assemblies (104) are located intermediate the inner tine assemblies (100a, 100b) and the outer ends of the two independently rotatable shafts (102).

When the cover is in the open position, a user may access the cutting reel from a top end of the frame.

Riding hydraulically driven aerator

A riding hydraulically driven aerator is disclosed herein. The aerator includes a frame, an engine, one or more hydraulic pumps, one or more drive wheels, and one or more tine assemblies. The one or more tine assemblies may be driven by one or more hydraulic tine motors. The one or more hydraulic tine motors may be directly coupled to the one or more tine assemblies. In various embodiments, the one or more drive wheels are driven by one or more hydraulic wheel motors. The one or more hydraulic tine motors and the one or more hydraulic wheel motors may be driven in series by the one or more hydraulic pumps.

An electric power lawn aerator is employed in use to care for lawns. The electric power lawn aerator is battery-powered, and includes a frame assembly, one or more non-driven wheels, a handle assembly, a powerhead assembly, a powertrain assembly, and a tine assembly, among other possible components. The powerhead assembly has one or more battery cavities and an electric motor. A battery, such as a lithium-ion battery, is received in the battery cavity(s) and powers the electric motor. The electric motor imparts rotational drive to the tine assembly by way of the powertrain assembly. The tine assembly punctures the lawn amid use of the electric power lawn aerator.
