STALK ELIMINATOR
The stalk eliminator chops stalks, uproots stalks, and re-chops stalks. The apparatus includes a front stalk chopper on a rotating cylinder with angularly attached blades. A plow tool attaches to the apparatus and provides a subsoiler wing behind and under the front stalk chopper. A rear stalk chopper on a rotating cylinder with angularly attached blades follows the plow tool.
Stalk puller
A stalk puller to be used with or without a mower/shredder utilizes a pair of independently mounted discs converging along their lower edge to grasp and pull stalks from the ground as the stalk puller is moved down the row by a prime mover. At least one of the discs is urged against the other by a spring such that the associated disc may allow rocks and debris to pass between the discs without damage. The spring mounting reduces adjustments due to normal wear as well as damage from debris.
A Haulm Cutting Apparatus
A haulm cutting apparatus includes lateral and vertical guiding means or surfaces and a first, rotatable shear rotatable around an axis of rotation extending in a direction with a vertical component. The apparatus further includes a counter shear for cooperation with the first, rotatable shear, and the first, rotatable shear and the counter shear are positioned in a side-by-side relationship relative to a direction of travel during operation.
Agricultural machine attachment for corn stalk flattening
An attachment of a harvesting head of a combine is disclosed. The attachment includes a main body and a flange fixedly connected to the main body. The flange is connected to the main body at an angle and the flange has at least one mounting aperture. The flange is configured to be attached to the harvesting head of a combine by the at least one mounting aperture. When the flange is attached to the harvesting head of the combine and the combine is performing a harvesting operation, a furthest portion of the main body away from the flange is positioned above a lowest portion of the harvesting head from a ground surface.
Arrangement for controlling the height and/or incline of a combine header for harvesting thin-stemmed crops
An arrangement for controlling the height and/or incline of a combine header for harvesting thin-stemmed crops includes a control system which is connected to a sensor for detecting the height of the combine header above the ground, and to an actuator for controlling the height and/or incline of the combine header and which can be operated to control the actuator in dependence on signals of the sensor. A mulching appliance with a cultivating tool for shredding plant stumps is attached to the combine header in a vertically movable manner following the contour of the ground, and the sensor is set up to detect the position of the mulching appliance relative to the combine header.
Land Roller with Replaceable Chopping Blades
A land roller implement for chopping vegetation on the ground has one or more rollers including a drum body with mounting flanges protruding radially from the drum body onto which chopping blades can be fastened. The mounting flanges are fixed to the drum body with front weld beads that are spaced apart along the leading face of the mounting flanges. The blades are notched along the inner end to define recessed portions aligned with and receiving the front weld beads therein such that protruding portions at the inner end of the blades between the recessed portions are able to abut against the peripheral surface of the drum body without interference by the front weld beads. The bolts fastening the blades to the mounting flanges are thus isolated from shear forces by the abutting protruding portions while the mounting flanges remain secured against folding backward due to the presence of the front weld beads within the recessed portions.
CUTTING ASSEMBLY AND LAWN MOWER
A cutting assembly is mounted on the lawn mower to perform cutting work. The cutting assembly includes a cutting deck and at least two cutting element groups disposed at different heights of the cutting deck. Each cutting element group includes at least one cutting element. The cutting deck responds to driving of the lawn mower to rotate and drive the cutting elements to rotate, to form at least two cutting trajectories at the different heights of the cutting deck. In the cutting assembly and the lawn mower, the at least two cutting element groups are disposed at the different heights of the cutting deck, to enable the cutting assembly to be driven by an electric tool to form the at least two cutting trajectories.
APPARATUS FOR LAND CLEARING AND PREPARATION HAVING INTERCHANGEABLE CHAMBER INSERTS
A land preparation apparatus includes a rotatable tool including a body and a plurality of tool assemblies disposed on an outer surface of the body. The land preparation apparatus also includes a housing including a first end, a second end, and a framework extending between the first and second ends. Ends of the rotatable tool are rotatably connected to the first and second ends. The framework has an interior surface that extends along at least a portion of the width of the rotatable tool. The interior surface has two or more interior surface sections across its width, with each of the interior surface sections defining a corresponding chamber section. The interior surface combines with a periphery of the rotatable tool, the first end, and the second end to define a chamber.
