In the device is a replaceable treatment-agent cartridge (7) and the treatment-agent cartridge contains treatment agent. The cartridge is attached to the inlet port of the pump (2) by means of an adapter (4).

An improved timber jack for raising and supporting logs off from the ground has an elongated lever arm handle member supporting a fulcrum at a distal end of the handle creating a lever of the first class. The novelty resides in having an arcuate fulcrum such that applying a force at a proximal end of the handle causes the fulcrum to roll on the ground as the log is being lifted. Less effort is required to lift a given load as compared to conventional timber jacks.

Disclosed is a method of identifying an object using at least one imaging. The method comprises acquiring calibration information for each of the imaging device arranged substantially perpendicular to a planar surface of the object, capturing an image of the planar surface using each of the imaging device, generating a transformed image corresponding to each image of the planar surface, using the calibration information of the imaging device used for capturing each image, generating a security map for each transformed image, wherein the security map comprises a weightage factor for each pixel of the transformed image, and wherein the weightage factor is based on image resolution of the transformed image, and constructing a resultant image of the planar surface using each transformed image and the security map for the transformed image, to identify the object.

A disclosed plant identification (PID) pin includes a push pin flat stock base having a central ratchet defining a hole for a pin and defining a screen for an identification number. A knob includes a pointer and defines an opening coincident with the flat stock base hole and configured complementary to the central ratchet. A partial disk rotates around the pin and includes an identification number (IDN) on a face thereof and a boss coincident with the flat stock base hole. Additionally, a pin is designed to push through the flat stock base, the boss of the partial disk and into a tree and anchor the push pin into a woody stock of a plant. A passive electronic identification circuit with the identification number responds to GPS location queries. A seal on the flat stock base is broken via the pin to initiate the IDN for a certain woody plant.

A tree section lowering assembly is provided. The tree section lowering assembly includes a support member having a first side, an opposing second side, a first end, and an opposing second end. A plurality of rung members extend from the first side of the support member. Each of the plurality of rung members has an outer surface configured to facilitate a frictional, sliding engagement with an interlaced rigging line. The storage tank is pressurized and coupled with a manually operated trigger to allow filed operated timber marking. A method to mark timber includes preparing the tank system with pressurized gas, selectively marking a preidentified tree at the trunk and stump.
