PORTABLE AND COLLAPSABLE MODULAR CALF HOUSING SYSTEM
A portable and collapsable modular calf housing system featuring at leasl one pen comprising a front panel and two side panels and optionally a rear wall panel forming a pen The side panels include channels in which the front panel can slide vertically to adjust the height of a feed pail attached thereto The channels are disposed on either face of each side panel to enable a front panel from each one of adjacent pens to be joined to form a plurality of interconnected pens.
CALVING PEN
Improved farrowing crate for cows, in which the cattle have a peaceful atmosphere particularly suitable for the time of calving and the following days, so that both the physical and mental health of the mother and calf can be closely monitored and appropriate medical and other care can be administered during this period, and which has various safety systems for both the cattle and the user.
Method and device for weaning calves
A method for weaning calves from their mothers without direct human intervention. The method consists of a specialized weaning gate that allows calves to creep graze into an adjacent paddock but does not allow the mother to follow. The gate allows the calves to return to the mothers, to acclimate the calves to moving through the gate and grazing independently and to acclimate the mothers to being temporarily separated from the calves. Once the calves have reached the appropriate age to be weaned, the gate is adjusted to become a one-way gate so that the calves will creep graze into the adjacent field but will not be able to return to the original field with the mothers, which allows the calves to be fully weaned without direct human intervention.
CALF PAIRING UNIT
A housing system for a calf including a housing unit having a first exterior sidewall, a second exterior sidewall, a front exterior wall extending between the first exterior sidewall and the second exterior sidewall, a roof extending between the first exterior sidewall and the second exterior sidewall, an opening at least partially defined by the front exterior wall for ingress and egress of a calf into and out of the housing unit, and an enclosed living space extending between and bounded by the first and second exterior sidewalls and the front exterior wall.
ANIMAL PEN WITH REMOVABLE DIVIDERS
A modular animal pen system comprises front and rear panels and opposed side panels extending between the front and rear panels to form a primary enclosure. The front panel has adjacent doorway apertures formed therein to receive respective selectively closable gates, and a mullion is disposed between the doorway apertures. The mullion has a first slot, and a second slot in the rear panel is in registration with the first slot. The animal pen system further comprises a removable divider panel whose longitudinal ends are sized to fit removably within the respective slots so that the divider panel can divide the primary enclosure into two secondary enclosures. The side and divider panels may be formed by interchangeable profile panels, and the front and rear panels may be formed by interchangeable face panels connectable end-to-end to form a junction slot therebetween sized to receive the longitudinal ends of the profile panels.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SECURING CALF HUTCHES
A securement system for securing one or more calf hutches is provided. The securement system includes latch assemblies and a line. The latch assemblies are configured to be attached to the calf hutches and comprise receiver flanges and latch arms. Each receiver flange includes a vertically-extending plate defining a locking slot with an open end. Each latch arm may be shifted between a closed position in which it blocks the open end of the locking slot and an open position in which it does not block the open end of the locking slot. Each latch arm is biased to the closed position.

METHOD FOR MANAGING HEALTH CONDITION OF CALF, SYSTEM FOR MANAGING HEALTH CONDITION OF CALF, APPARATUS FOR MANAGING HEALTH CONDITION OF CALF, AND GARMENT FOR MANAGING HEALTH CONDITION OF CALF
An object of the present invention is to provide a method for easily managing a health condition of a calf. The method for managing a health condition of a calf, including: calculating at least one of an average value of beat intervals, a variation in beat intervals, a beat number, HF, or LF/HF in the first resting period and the second resting period in which the acceleration is the constant M or less is satisfied; issuing a warning for notifying abnormality of a body temperature of the calf when a magnitude relationship of at least one of formulae (1) to (5) below; and raising or lowering the body temperature of the calf:
the average value of beat intervals in the first resting period>the average value of beat intervals in the second resting period(1)
the beat number in the first resting period<the beat number in the second resting period(2)
the variation in beat intervals in the first resting period>the variation in beat intervals in the second resting period(3)
the HF in the first resting period>the HF in the second resting period(4)
the LF/HF in the first resting period<the LF/HF in the second resting period(5).
