A pet carrying backpack includes a bottom panel, a front panel, a rear panel, a right-side panel, and a left-side panel connected to form a bag with an open top. The open top includes a collar forming an opening which allows a head of an animal within the bag to protrude therefrom. The collar may be adjustable. Shoulder straps are disposed on and extend from the front panel. Paw holes are disposed on a front of the backpack body above the shoulder straps and below the collar. The paw holes are configured to accommodate paws or legs of the animal. A pet carrying platform is disposed within the bag above the bottom panel and below the open top. The pet carrying platform forms a storage compartment below the pet carrying platform and a pet compartment above the pet carrying platform.

The invention presents a harness assembly for lifting and supporting an animal in mobility. The assembly comprises a front and rear harness sections releasably attached by a lifting leash. Both the front and rear harness sections can be used independently. Both the front and rear harness sections are comprised of upper and lower sections releasably attached to one another. The rear harness section lifts the animal from both the hips and waist resulting in less stress than other devices.

An apparatus for improving the safety of a pet during travel is disclosed. The apparatus includes a body. The body includes a base, a support structure, and a back support. The support structure is positioned along the base. The support structure includes a top end elevated above the base and an inclined surface for supporting torso portions of the pet during travel. The back support is positioned along the base and configured to support a rear portion of the pet during travel. The apparatus may include a restraint system. The restraint system may include a harness which may engage with a portion of the base and may also engage with other portions of the pet. The apparatus may further include a strap assembly coupled to the base which may define at least one strap end for engaging with an anchor point of a vehicle.
Apparatus and methods for improving safety of a pet during travel
An apparatus for improving the safety of a pet during travel is disclosed. The apparatus includes a body. The body includes a base, a wedge, and a back support. The wedge is positioned along the base. The wedge includes a top end elevated above the base and an inclined surface for supporting torso portions of the pet during travel. The back support is positioned along the base and configured to support a rear portion of the pet during travel. The apparatus may include a restraint system. The restraint system may include a harness which may engage with a portion of the base and may also engage with other portions of the pet. The apparatus may further include a strap assembly coupled to the base which may define at least one strap end for engaging with an anchor point of a vehicle.

The ergonomic pet carrier is an apparatus that evenly distributes the weight of a dog against the shoulder and the back of a user. The apparatus includes a first shoulder strap assembly, a second shoulder strap assembly, a frame, a supporting panel, and a plurality of leg-receiving holes. The first shoulder strap and the second shoulder strap assembly evenly distribute the weight of the dog across each shoulder and the back of the user.
