IMPROVED INCUBATION PROCESS OF EGGS IN HATCHERIES
Disclosed is a cradle for the incubation process of eggs in hatcheries, for the incubation of eggs in a cradleroora and optionally the hatching of the chicks, the cradle including an outer edge and an inner structure with a. number of positions to receive eggs, whereby the cradle includes a tiltable inner structure and a stackable outer edge. Also disclosed is a stacking of the, cradles, a cradleroom, incubation process, and method for the incubation of eggs.
Method for hatching eggs
The present invention relates to a method for producing poultry in, particular chicks, at a hatchery, the method comprising; a) incubating a batch of eggs in incubating trays in an incubating device during a first incubating period of between about 7 to about 11 days, and then, b) for each egg of the batch of eggs, determining of gender of the chick embryo, in particular after determination if the egg contains a well-developed or more specifically a living embryo, c) based on the gender of a chick embryo, dividing the batch of eggs into at least a male batch portion and a female batch portion.
DEVICE TO MEASURE AN EMBRYO'S HEART IN AN EGG
Disclosed is a device for contactless measuring of an embryo's heart rate in an egg whereby infrared light is sent in the egg by one light source, and the reflection of that light is detected by one or more light sensors and converted into a signal representative for the heart rate, whereby a shield is provided to avoid light that is reflected on the egg shell interfering with the light sensors. The shield is provided at the light source and not at the light sensors, whereby a light tube is provided between the light source and the egg and the light tube is internally dimensioned and positioned such that a focused light spot is directed on the egg, and the light tube is dimensioned and positioned such that light reflected on the surface of the egg on the level of the light spot cannot directly reach the light sensors.
Transparent modulatable kayak with shading system
A transparent modulatable kayak with shading system includes two pairs of fitting devices, reversibly connecting multiple kayaks. The tubular body of the paddle is reversibly divisible at the center. The inner volume of the hull has a container housing a cloth adapted to shade the user on the seat. The upper surface of the hull has a plurality of recesses, of which at least one pair is positioned at the bow and at least one pair is positioned at the stern, each housing a portion of the tubular body of the paddle. The tubular body includes, at each end, at least one coupling device adapted to reversibly connect at least one of the corresponding coupling devices of the cloth. The hull is made of any natural or synthetic polymer adapted to ensure the floating of the kayak and its total transparency.
CONNECTED HATCHERY COMPRISING A PLURALITY OF DEVICES FOR HANDLING, PROCESSING OR VACCINATING EGGS OR CHICKS
The invention relates to a connected hatchery (1) comprising a plurality of devices (22, 23, 24, 25, 3, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 5, 62, 63, 64) for handling, processing or vaccinating eggs or chicks distributed along a production line, each of the devices being an automated device fitted with a programmable logic controller (231, 431, 451, 641) capable of producing at least one data stream (F23a, F23b, F23c, F23d, F43a, F43b, F43c, F43d, F43e, F43f, F45a, F45b, F45c, F45d, F45e, F64a, F64b, F64c, F64d) relating to the performance or operations of the said automated device, characterized in that it comprises a data centralizing and processing unit (7) arranged to collect the data streams produced by the programmable logic controllers of said automated devices in order to determine at least one performance indicator (I1, I2, I3) of the production line from one or more of said collected data streams and in order to transmit said performance indicator over a telecommunications network to a remote terminal.
Egg support assembly, and associated device and method
An egg processing apparatus is provided. Such an apparatus includes a plurality of egg processing devices configured to interact with a plurality of eggs carried by an egg carrier. An egg support assembly is positioned beneath the egg processing devices such that an egg carrier is capable of being moved between the egg processing devices and the egg support assembly. The egg support assembly includes a plurality of pedestals, with each pedestal having a plurality of discrete egg support members cooperating to form a seating arrangement portion for contacting and supporting an end of an egg in the egg carrier. An associated assembly and method are also provided.
Method for hatching eggs
A method for producing poultry at a hatchery includes incubating a batch of eggs in incubating trays in an incubating device during a first incubating period of between about 7 to about 11 days, and then, for each egg of the batch of eggs, determining of gender of the chick embryo, in particular after determination if the egg contains a well-developed or more specifically a living embryo, and based on the gender of a chick embryo, dividing the batch of eggs into at least a male batch portion and a female batch portion.
Methods and systems in egg hatching
The present disclosure relates to methods and systems in egg hatching, based on hatching eggs in a tray (2), comprising arranging eggs in a pattern in or on the tray, comprising egg supporting positions and holes together defining the pattern, wherein the holes are dimensioned to allow chicks (27) after hatching to pass there through into a crate (4), detecting at least one of numbers of unhatched eggs (22) in or on the tray; numbers of dead chicks in the crate; and numbers of objectionable chicks in the crate, and supplementing or removing chicks to or from the crate in correspondence therewith.
