Nursing simulator system for nursing an infant
A nursing simulator system, includes a nursing body with a torso and a plurality of limbs; an access panel; a bladder with nipple attachment points that protrude through apertures in the nursing body; nipples that attach to the nipple attachment points; and a thermostat controlled heating system with a heating element, a temperature display, and control buttons. The limbs are flexible and adjustable, such that the limbs are positionable to hold a nursing infant.
Water Supply Nipple for Animals
A water nipple controlled by the animal has a valve seat inside a housing. The valve member has an elongate valve shaft providing a forward end at the circular discharge mouth for operation by the animal. A resilient body on the valve member defines a convoluted or serpentine water flow path for flow of water along the flow path through the housing with the flow path defining a rate of flow of the water. A resilient ring is mounted on the valve shaft spaced the valve seat and the forward end with an outside edge of the resilient ring adjacent to and spaced from the inside surface of the housing so as to define an annular channel therebetween through which the water passes so that the resilient ring restricts direct flow of water from the valve seat to the discharge mouth to prevent excess squirting of the water.
Animal pacifier
A livestock sucking device or pacifier has a nipple with a shaft and a base. A weighted member is connected to a lower surface of the base. The weighted member has a partially spherical wall that forms an enclosed chamber. A weight is disposed within the chamber.
Nursing device
The nursing device is for use with livestock. The nursing device is for use with one or more living cats. The nursing device is for use with a liquid feeding formula (hereinafter formula) for use with livestock. The nursing device is specifically for use with a formula for use with a living cat. The nursing device includes a feline shell, a fluid handling system, and an electrical system. The feline shell is a puppet that resembles a cat. The feline shell contains the fluid handling system and the electrical system. The fluid handling system: 1) contains the formula; and, 2) distributes the formula to the one or more living cats. The electrical system: 1) heats the formula; and, 2) creates audible sounds intended to soothe the one or more living cats.
ANIMAL FEEDING TEATS AND A TEAT MOUNTING SYSTEM
Animal feeding teats are often removed from a feeding receptacle for cleaning or for re-use on a larger receptacle. A nipple end of the teats is typically designed for use in a specific orientation to aid the suckling of a young animal, and therefore the teats need to be fitted to the feeding receptacle correctly. The animal feeding teat has a rectangular connection feature in a base end of the teat that is designed to mate with a similarly shaped feature on a feeding receptacle. It is considered important that the connection feature has only one or two lines of symmetry, so that the teat can only be fitted in one or two orientations relative to the receptacle.
Nipple System for Delivering Fluid to an Animal
The present disclosure refers to an apparatus for feeding an infant animal has in one embodiment a nipple combination comprising a one-way valve engaged with the proximal end of the tube of a nipple, and an open rather than self-sealing nipple aperture. A self-sealing nipple aperture is obviated by the one-way valve in the distal end of the tube of the nipple.
Split shot fishing line weight
A fishing line weight according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes a first tungsten body including a first hole, a first projection and a first groove. A second tungsten body includes a second hole substantially aligned with the first hole, a second projection substantially aligned with the first groove and a second groove substantially aligned with the first projection. A copper pin is disposed in the first hole and the second hole. The first tungsten body is unconnected from the second tungsten body.
Venting device
A venting device for an animal feeder which has a feeding teat is disclosed. The venting device has a chamber with an opening into the chamber. A vent opening is also connected to the chamber. A sealing element is retained freely moveable in the chamber. The sealing element has a first surface positioned relative to the opening such that, in use of the feeder, feed in the feeder will contact the first surface and cause the sealing element to move to a sealing position on seat to close the chamber from the vent opening. The surface is configured such that when a negative pressure in the feeder acts on the surface and is sufficient to overcome the weight of feed acting on the surface, the sealing element will be drawn into a position where the chamber can communicate with the vent opening and thereby vent the feeder to atmosphere.
Storage bag with joined center portion
A flexible and collapsible liquid storage bag comprising front and back walls formed from a sheet material is described wherein a front wall and a back wall are joined along a perimeter of the bag and are also joined at a joined center portion proximate the centers of the respective front and back sheets. The bags are typically used in the storage, heat-treatment and dispensing of bovine colostrum.
