Smart freezer for organizing breast milk storage bags
An apparatus and method for organizing breast milk storage bags, comprising a refrigerated enclosure, a vertical carousel automated conveyor having a plurality of racks rotating around it vertical axis with such racks partitioned in a plurality of compartments wherein the breast milk storage bags are placed, a main door that allows access to the whole arrangement and a secondary door that allows easy access to one rack for retrieving or storing breast milk storage bags, such secondary door includes a load sensor and a plurality of light sources that indicates in which slot the desired bag is located. The apparatus further includes a control panel with a User Interface and employs an algorithm that selects the breast milk storage bags according to the desired ounces sorting them by nearest expiration date and keeping track of the breast milk inventory database which is able to be accessed through a mobile app.
Apparatus for cooling high-heat-treated food products, method for performing this, and heat-treatment line for this
The invention relates to an apparatus for cooling high-heat-treated food products with a flash-cooler, having a container for a pre-product to be cooled with an inlet for the pre-product to be cooled and an outlet for the cooled end product of the food product as well as cooling equipment, the cooling equipment having a cooling jacket associated to the container, through which at least one part of the wall of the container is cooled. The invention also relates to a heat-treatment line for food products, having one such apparatus. The invention also relates to a method for cooling high-heat-treated, particularly ultra-high-heat-treated food products, using a flash cooler having a container for a pre-product to be cooled, with an inlet for the pre-product to be cooled and an outlet for the cooled end product of the food product and cooling equipment.
Thawing of raw milk
A colostrum heating tub and a container for storing said colostrum therein, the colostrum heating tub adapted for holding a stationary pool of heating liquid and surrounding the container such that it is at least partly immersed in the heating liquid when positioned in the colostrum heating tub. The colostrum heating tub further contains a rack module for holding the container within the stationary pool of heating liquid, the rack module adapted for rotating around an axis such that at least the container can be rotated 360 degrees around the axis so the container is, at all times during 360 degree rotation around the axis, maintained in a fixed position with respect to the rack module and at least partly immersed in the stationary pool of heating liquid for even distribution of heat throughout the container to uniformly heat the colostrum.
FREEZE-DRYING, STORING, REHYDRATING AND FEEDING USING BREAST MILK
The present invention is a system and method for performing freeze drying of small quantities of a liquid for personal use, wherein a liquid material is disposed within a single-use container, the container is then coupled to a small-scale freeze-drying unit which extracts liquid from the material in the container using a freeze-drying process, and the freeze-dried material is then left in the container and the container is stored until rehydration. The container may be a specialized single-use container that may be used to rehydrate the liquid and then fitted with a delivery device to feed an infant or child.
System and Method for Processing Milk
The present invention relates to a system for processing milk, which comprises a thermal pasteurization device and an autoclaving treatment device. The raw milk is sequentially subjected to thermal pasteurization and autoclaving treatment to obtain milk which can be transported by a long distance. The present invention has the beneficial effects that the method for processing milk of the present invention is used for extending the service life of the pure milk and improving the storage capacity thereof; the short service life reduces the influence on the nutrient composition and flavor of the milk; the obtained milk has a taste closer to the fresh raw milk, and the storage time is longer; after thawing to restore the liquid state, the shelf life can be up to 21 days; the milk processed by the method of the present invention can be used for transporting by a long distance.
PRE-LYOPHILIZATION THERMALLY CONDUCTIVE ENVELOPMENT AND DIMENSIONAL HOMOGENIZATION OF THERMALLY SOLID BIOLOGICAL FLUIDS
Apparatus and associated methods relate to lyophilizing a solid phase composition (SPC). In an illustrative example, the SPC is received in a frozen state in a first packaging. The SPC may be, for example, transferred into a second packaging having a thermally conductive layer, mechanically distributed to a predetermined maximum thickness to form a block having at least one homogenous dimension, and provided with a heat source configured to communicate substantially all thermal energy to the SPC via the thermally conductive second layer. In some embodiments, the SPC may be maintained in the frozen state. For example, the lyophilized SPC may be transferred to a third packaging. Various embodiments may limit physical contacts with the SPC to the first packaging, the second packaging, and the third packaging. Various embodiments may advantageously maintain sanitation, retain nutrients of the SPC, and/or promote consistent results from the lyophilization process.
METHOD FOR THE TREATMENT, IN PARTICULAR TEMPERATURE CONTROL, HEATING AND/OR COOLING, OF LIQUID FOOD FOR ANIMALS
In a device for freezing milk, in particular colostrum (3), in a container (5) comprising a temperature control element (10), the temperature control element remains in the frozen milk.
