Method for the preparation of a monoglyceride hydrate product
The present invention relates to a method for preparing a monoglyceride hydrate product, which product may be used as an emulsifier in various food and non-food applications. The present invention further relates to the monoglyceride hydrate product obtainable by said method. The invention further relates to a monoglyceride hydrate product, comprising monoglycerides, with saturated fatty acid residues, water and non-hydrogenated monoglycerides and/or diglycerides having unsaturated fatty acid residues.
DRESSING COMPOSITION COMPRISING MICROALGAL PROTEIN
A food composition in the form of an oil-in-water emulsion, comprising 66 to 87 wt % of vegetable oil, less than 1 wt % of microalgal oil, water, microalgal protein, and wherein the composition has a pH of from 2 to 4.8, and wherein the composition is free from egg-derived ingredients.

PROCESS FOR MAKING A WATER SOLUBLE, FULL SPECTRUM HEMP OIL
A powdered, water-soluble Full Spectrum Hemp Oil is formed using organic materials and natural products to form a non-GMO, fast acting, whole plant hemp extract without harsh chemicals such as hexane. The Full Spectrum Hemp Oil may be extracted using CO2 concurrent gas extraction to avoid use of chemical additives.
METHOD FOR PREVENTING OR TREATING GASTROINTESTINAL DISTRESS IN HUMANS USING MASTIC GUM COMPOSITIONS
Embodiments of a method and supplement for preventing and/or treating gastrointestinal distress, including ulcer conditions, in animals such as humans are disclosed. The supplement is in a tablet or capsule form and comprises mastic gum and an emulsifying agent such as lecithin. The supplement may also comprise B vitamins, one or more prebiotics or probiotics, and one or more minerals as well as, pH buffers and flavoring. A disclosed method of preventing and/or treating gastrointestinal distress comprises orally dosing an animal such as a human with the supplement at least once daily.
Pickering emulsion prepared using peanut protein isolate and preparation method thereof
A method for preparing a Pickering emulsion using a peanut protein isolate includes preparing a peanut protein isolate dispersion liquid from a peanut protein isolate solution as a raw material; preparing a mixed dispersion of protein and polysaccharide using a polysaccharide solution and the peanut protein isolate dispersion; adding transglutaminase to the mixed dispersion of protein and polysaccharide, preparing a monolithic gel by cross-linking reaction; preparing a microgel particle dispersion by using the monolithic gel as a raw material; and further adding the microgel particle dispersion to an edible oil to obtain a Pickering emulsion. During the preparation process, no inorganic material is added, and the obtained Pickering emulsion has good biosafety and strong biocompatibility. The prepared Pickering emulsion can keep stable at room temperature for 30 days or more, and can be used as a delivery system for fat-soluble and photosensitive active substances.
