Ozone Sanitization System and Method for Animal Feed
An ozone supply device is described for generating ozone and supplying the ozone to a livestock feed system for application to livestock feed to sanitize the feed. The device includes an intake port for receiving air from outside the device, an ozone generator for receiving air from the intake port and converting oxygen in the air to ozone, an ozone compressor intake for receiving ozone produced by the ozone generator, a compressor pump for compressing ozone received through the ozone compressor intake, and an ozone supply line for transmitting compressed ozone to a livestock feed system for application to the livestock feed. The device also includes an ozone meter and display, a timer, an inverter, and one or more housings. An adapter is interconnectable between the livestock feed system and the ozone supply line of the ozone supply device to connect them together.
Method for removing glucosinolates from oilseed meals
A process to remove the glucosinolates of oilseed meals, such as Brassica carinata oilseed meals, is provided. In one embodiment, exogenous myrosinase is used to convert the glucosinolates to volatile isothiocyanate compounds, which can then be removed under conditions of mild heat and negative pressure. In another embodiment, heat and pressure are used to remove glucosinolates from Brassica carinata oilseed. The processed meals may contain less than 80% of their starting levels of glucosinolates and may be suitable for use in various applications, including as animal feeds.
AGRICULTURAL SYSTEM AND METHOD
An agricultural system for generating food and fuel products includes an arrangement for supplying grain, wherein the agricultural system includes a hydroponics arrangement for receiving the supplied grain and for germinating and growing the supplied grain in a light-excluded environment in one or more hydroponics trays to generate plant growth material, and a harvesting arrangement for receiving the plant growth material and processing the plant growth material to generate corresponding livestock feed. The hydroponics arrangement includes a gaseous fumigation arrangement for gaseously fumigating the supplied grain during growing of the grain in the light-excluded environment. The gaseous fumigation arrangement is operable to employ ozone gas for fumigating the supplied grain to reduce growth of mould in the plant growth material.

DEVICE AND METHOD FOR SPRAYING HOT WATER IN A FINE MIST TO WINDROWED ALFALFA HAY TO SIMULATE THE EFFECT OF DEW
An apparatus and method for simulating the effects of dew are disclosed. The apparatus includes a moveable platform; a rotatable base, the rotatable base being connected to the platform; and a plurality of elongated rods for penetrating and spraying beneath the surface of a windrow. The rods radiate from a longitudinal axis of the rotatable base.
System for Delivery of Biologics
The invention consists of novel systems and methods for mixing and/or applying biologies including live biologies and/or any additive having therapeutic or growth promoting value with and/or to animal feed, thereby creating treated animal feed, and for delivering such treated animal feed to animals in need via a delivery system. The invention also provides a system and method to treat seed with biologies prior to or contemporaneously with packaging, storing, and/or planting.
The processed meals may contain less than 80% of their starting levels of glucosinolates and may be suitable for use in various applications, including as animal feeds.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROCESSING AND TREATING AN AGRICULTURAL BYPRODUCT
An apparatus is configured to apply a treatment agent to an agricultural byproduct. The apparatus includes a fragmenting chamber where the agricultural byproduct is fragmented into particles. An initial amount of a treatment agent is applied to the byproduct in the fragmenting chamber. Particles of a desired size flow through a screen from the fragmenting chamber to a recovery zone. A second amount of the treatment agent is applied to the particles in the recovery zone. A regulator regulates the amount of the treatment agent applied to the particles in the fragmenting chamber and the amount of treatment agent applied in the in the recovery zone. The regulation may be based on one or more feedback mechanisms.
