The grinding teeth of each grinding plate are staggered such that, when the first and/or second grinding plates selectively rotate, there is no contact between the grinding teeth. The relative movement of the grinding teeth grinds herbs in the grinding space. The ground herbs pass through the plurality of holes in the second grinding plate into the second chamber.
