PACKAGING APPARATUS, SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR FORMING FILLED CONES
The technology described herein generally relates to an automated packaging apparatus and system that packages loose particles into a conical container as well as the final packed containers. More specifically, loose plant matter, such as crumbled dried leaves, are supplied to successive paper cones. The apparatus provides a system for reliably and accurately depositing or injecting a fluid into a cone packed with loose particulate.
System and method for preparing mixture of ground substances dispensed in one or more receptacles
An apparatus and method for automatically preparing a mixture of particles of two or more substances such as but not limited to raw tobacco and raw medical cannabis flowers in one or more receptacle where the mixture proportion is predefined, is disclosed. The apparatus of the invention can be used for mixing any types of herbal substances. Moreover, the apparatus of the invention can be used for mixing one or more kinds of the same substance, for example mixing two or more kinds of marijuana strains. The apparatus includes one or more compartments for inserting each of the substances separately. In some variations of the present invention the size of at least one of the compartments is smaller for predefined smaller quantities of raw herbal material for example, a single marijuana flower.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR TUBE LOADING, FILLING, SEALING, AND/OR WEIGHING
A tube loading, filling and sealing system that includes a tube loading apparatus, a tube filling apparatus, a tube sealing apparatus configured to receive and seal a plurality of tubes, and a weighing apparatus configured to weigh a plurality of filled tubes. A method of filling tubes with a herb mixture using a tube loading, filling, and sealing system. The method including loading the tubes into a tube filling apparatus using a tube loading apparatus, filling the tubes loaded into the tube filling apparatus with a herb mixture, sealing the filled tubes using a tube sealing apparatus, and weighing the sealed tubes using a weighing apparatus.
Packer Station of a Packaging Apparatus and System
The technology described herein generally relates to an automated packaging apparatus and system that packages loose particles into a conical container as well as the final folded packages. More specifically, loose plant matter, such as crumbled dried leaves, are supplied to successive paper cones. The apparatus packs the crumbled leaves into the cones, applies air bursts to pack the material within the cone, closes the wide top portion of the cone, and then runs a quality control check to ensure that the final filled cone meets preset specifications.
CANNABIS OIL INJECTOR AND CANNABIS JOINTS MANUFACTURING MACHINE THEREWITH
A cannabis joints manufacturing machine comprises a plurality of different cannabis joints manufacturing stations, each for performing on one cannabis cone at a time a step among a sequence of steps for manufacturing a cannabis joint; one of the cannabis joints manufacturing stations including a cannabis oil injector; the plurality of different cannabis joints manufacturing stations being positioned side-by-side according to the sequence of steps for manufacturing a cannabis joint; and a cannabis cone support for receiving a plurality of cannabis cones and for sequentially moving together the plurality of cannabis cones between each of the plurality of different cannabis joints manufacturing stations.

The apparatus provides a system for reliably and accurately depositing or injecting a fluid into a cone packed with loose particulate.
Pre-roll filling device with integrated scale
A filling device has a base that retains a sleeve in which a pre-roll cone is placed. A scale is located below the sleeve to weigh the contents of the pre-roll cone as it is filled. A filling hopper is placed above the sleeve to introduce ingredients, such as smoking material, into the pre-roll cone. An integrated automatic lighter is included in the base and is triggered by a physical switch or by a motion and/or proximity sensor. An electronics-enabled cover includes an air pump, fan, UV-C sanitizing light, and other features to add in the filling process and in sanitation. An ashtray accessory with an odor or flavor additive and a fan may also be provided. The functions of the filling device can be controlled by external devices, like a smartphone, through a software application.
AUTOMATIC CONE LOADING AND FILLING STATION
A carousel magazine that hold stacked paper or hemp smokable cones. The carousel is indexed with a home position sensor to a set of actuators that is controlled by air or electric to open and close two different tapped holders. For example, the top and bottom gripping actuators can open and close to hand off one cone from a stack of one or more cone one at a time. The top actuator with a tapered cone split holder housing grips the top of the upper most stacked cones while the bottom gripper moves up using a second linear actuator the grab the bottom semi-hard filter assemble to pull the bottom cone from the stack with the top gripper applies presser or friction to the top cone allowing to hand off one cone at a time from top gripper to bottom gripper. The second bottom gripper that has captured the bottom filter assemble of the cone moves in a downward position to place the single cone in a rotating turret assemble that will rotate to a filling station and then rotate to a twisting station for final processing and packaging. The cones can be pulled from a rotating stack or linear stack.
WEIGH STATION WITH A LINEAR VIBRATING FUNNEL AND A LINEAR VIBRATING, TAPPING MECHANISM TO PACK AN ARTICLE INTO A TAPERED CONE USING FRICTIONLESS MAGNETIC LEVITATION
A power ground oily flower such as cannabis or hemp is loaded into a tapered paper cone by using a linear vibrator having an eccentric drive bearing to focus the forces in the direction the powder was traveling. A linear piston is driven by an eccentric drive mechanism to tap the bottom of the cone with programmable frequencies to achieve the desired pack rates at high speeds. Eccentric actuators are also used to drive the power from the storage hopper to a linear vibrating feeder to a vibration bowl feeder to a weigh station that is dumped into a vibrating funnel that moved up and down with a lineal actuator to align the funnel to a paper cone with a receiving tapered tube to fill a cone with power that is being vibrated by a cone vibrator to pack the cone during filling.
Packaging apparatus and system
The technology described herein generally relates to an automated packaging apparatus and system that packages loose particles into a conical container as well as the final folded packages. More specifically, loose plant matter, such as crumbled dried leaves, are supplied to successive paper cones. The apparatus packs the crumbled leaves into the cones, closes the wide top portion of the cone into a precise shape, and then runs a quality control check to ensure that the final filled cone meets preset specifications.
