Located within the body are a built-in rechargeable battery to power a built-in lighter that is connected to a control unit activating the lighter, a compartment for storing tools needed to use the substance, a removable container having a sealable stopper for storing the substance, and a built-in safety mechanism that is connected to a trigger switch on the control unit to prevent accidental activation of the lighter when the lid closes. The trigger switch is activated through a contact communication with the lid when the lid opens, which in turn disables the built-in safety mechanism.

The compressed elastomeric seal provides a spring force that retains the latch in the latched position and a spring force that is resolved into sealing vectors perpendicular to the sealing surface along the entire length of the sealing surface to ensure a seal along the sealing surface.
