A footwear covering system is provided to permit the movement of a footwear covering from a first position, in which it is retained in a retention structure of a leg covering, to a second position in which the footwear covering at least partially covers an article of footwear.

A sandal having a detachable strap fastening, comprising a sole, at least one strap and at least one cam buckle and/or at least one anchor buckle. The sandal is modularly constructed and can be easily assembled and disassembled. The sole and the at least one strap are connected to each other by guiding the at least one strap through apertures provided in the sole. The two ends of the at least one strap are either fastened to the strap again by means of at least one of the cam buckles so as to form a loop or are anchored to one of the apertures by means of at least one of the anchor buckles, wherein the fastening of at least one cam buckle and/or the at least one anchor buckle is effective by friction-locking and they can be opened manually after closing and can be detached from the strap.

An article of footwear includes a sole structure and an upper that is attached to the sole structure. The upper defines a cavity that is configured to receive a foot of a wearer. The upper is at least partially defined by a textile. The textile includes a first area that is substantially smooth. The first area defines a reference boundary that conforms to the cavity. The textile includes a second area. The second area includes a plurality of projection structures that project away from the reference boundary and outwardly from the cavity at varying heights. The second area includes a plurality of recess structures that recess away from the reference boundary and inwardly toward the cavity. The plurality of projection structures and the plurality of recess structures are in an alternating arrangement across the textile.

An article of footwear includes a sole, an upper, a first collar fastener, a second collar fastener, and a strap. The upper is connected to the sole and includes a hindfoot portion and a collar extending from the hindfoot portion. The collar is configured for movement between a first position in which a first side of the collar is an exterior side, and a second position in which an opposite second side of the collar is the exterior side. The first collar fastener is mounted to the first side of the collar. The second collar fastener is mounted to the second side of the collar. The strap extends from the upper and includes a strap fastener. In the first position of the collar, the first collar fastener connects to the strap fastener. In the second position of the collar, the second collar fastener connects to the strap fastener.

A rapid-entry shoe comprising a forward strap and a rearward strap configured to resiliently pivot relative to the other and/or configured to rotate relative to the rapid-entry shoe. The forward strap and the rearward strap are generally further apart from one another when the rapid-entry shoe is in an open configuration to facilitate reception of a foot of an individual donning the rapid-entry shoe.

A shoe with interchangeable external tongues. The external tongues can be manufactured in a range of designs, colors, and shapes. The external tongue can interchangeably couple to a vamp portion of the shoe and can be further secured by the laces. The external tongue and the vamp portion of the shoe have hook and loop fasteners for securing the external tongue to the vamp portion.

A wearable advertisement device includes a strap portion having a plurality of fastening apertures along the length of the strap, one or more fastener members and an advertisement plaque. The advertisement plaque may include any custom advertisement to be displayed while the device is worn by a user. The device may be worn by a user around the user's wrist or ankle or the device may serve as a strap such as a sandal strap or otherwise worn on the user's footwear.

A footwear article includes a hinged portion in a heel region that may be biased in various positions to increase or decrease a size of a foot-insertion opening. The hinged portion may be arranged in a first position, in which the hinged portion is more upright and is in position to cup a wearer's heel or Achilles region when the footwear article is worn. In addition, the hinged portion may be rotated downward or rearwardly (e.g., away from the foot-insertion opening) to a second position, which may increase a size of the foot-insertion opening and/or may change an angle along which a foot can pass through the foot-insertion opening when the footwear article is being donned or doffed. An article of footwear may include a sole structure and an upper. The upper may include a first section and a second section and may define a foot-receiving cavity over the sole structure. The first section may be fixed to the sole structure, and the second section may articulate relative to the first section between an access position and a use position, the foot-receiving cavity being more exposed when the second section is in the access position. A magnetic coupling includes a first coupling member that may be operatively secured to the second section of the upper and a second coupling member may be operatively secured to the sole structure and positioned so that the first coupling member couples with the second coupling member by magnetic force when the second section is in the access position.

A bimodal heel counter apt for a rapid entry and release footwear devices, that includes a flexible hollow hemisphere portion, a heel tab, a secondary heel tab, a back sole base, an anchor system, and dependent fastening elements. The bimodal heel counter and dependent fastening systems are biased to one of two stable positions, which elastically morphs by stored potential energy with applied force from one position to the other, configured to collectively snap a footwear device between an open and closed position, for donning and doffing, or securing the foot as to enable active footwear use.
