Footwear With A Removable, Heatable, Inner Sole
A footwear including a shoe body and a removable, heatable, inner sole is provided. The shoe body is shaped as footwear, for example, in the shape of a shoe, a slipper, a boot, etc. The removable, heatable, inner sole is placed between a sole and an insole of the shoe body. The removable, heatable, inner sole is rigid and is made of a material that can be heated repeatedly in a microwave oven for use within footwear. During use, the user can remove the removable, heatable, inner sole from the shoe body freely and conveniently, heat the removable, heatable, inner sole in the microwave oven, and place the heated inner sole between the sole and the insole of the shoe body. When the user wears the shoe body with the heated inner sole, the user can enjoy a soothing warmth and comfort provided by the heated inner sole.

The system comprises a heating or cooling device including one or more sealed fluidic pathways having a cooling or heating fluid therein and disposed in or on an article of footwear or a sock. A pumping device coupled to the heating or cooling device is configured to circulate the fluid in the one or more sealed fluidic pathways. A heat exchanger coupled to the heating or cooling device is configured to remove or add heat from or to the fluid in the one or more sealed fluidic pathways. A controller coupled to the pumping device and the heat exchanger is configured to control the pumping device and the heat exchanger to cool or heat a foot located inside the article of footwear or the sock.

A system for measuring and controlling foot temperature. The system comprises a heating or cooling device including one or more sealed fluidic pathways having a cooling or heating fluid therein and disposed in or on an article of footwear or a sock. A pumping device coupled to the heating or cooling device is configured to circulate the fluid in the one or more sealed fluidic pathways. A heat exchanger coupled to the heating or cooling device is configured to remove or add heat from or to the fluid in the one or more sealed fluidic pathways. A controller coupled to the pumping device and the heat exchanger is configured to control the pumping device and the heat exchanger to cool or heat a foot located inside the article of footwear or the sock.
Clothing article with integrated thermal regulation system
Implementations of a clothing article with an integrated thermal regulation system are provided. An example clothing article with an integrated thermal regulation system is configured to heat a portion of a wearer's body by transferring heat from a warmer first region of the body (e.g., the calf portion of the leg or wrist portion of the arm) to a cooler second region (e.g., the plantar side of the toes or the dorsal side of the fingers). The transfer of heat is facilitated by a thermally conductive fluid that flows between a first thermal transfer bag in heat exchange contact with the warmer first region of the wearer's body and a second thermal transfer bag that is in heat exchange contact with the cooler second region. The thermal transfer bags being held in position by the clothing article into which they have been integrated.
Clothing article with integrated thermal regulation system
Implementations of a clothing article with an integrated thermal regulation system are provided. An example clothing article with an integrated thermal regulation system is configured to heat a portion of a wearer's body by transferring heat from a warmer first region of the body (e.g., the calf portion of the leg or wrist portion of the arm) to a cooler second region (e.g., the plantar side of the toes or the dorsal side of the fingers). The transfer of heat is facilitated by a thermally conductive fluid that flows between a first thermal transfer bag in heat exchange contact with the warmer first region of the wearer's body and a second thermal transfer bag that is in heat exchange contact with the cooler second region. The thermal transfer bags being held in position by the clothing article into which they have been integrated.

In an embodiment, a method for heating a personal device using a wirelessly-powered heating device includes: wirelessly receiving power with a receiving coil of the wirelessly-powered heating device, the receiving coil located inside the personal device, where the receiving coil is coupled to a capacitor of the wirelessly-powered heating device to form a receiver resonant tank; and heating the personal device with heat produced by a resistance of the receiving coil, where the receiving coil functions as a receiver antenna and as a heat producing element.
Shoe and therapy system
The present shoe and therapy system pertains to a uniquely designed shoe that provides therapeutic benefits to wearers. It includes a fold-down heel portion that is designed to repeatedly fold and straighten such that a wearer may collapse the heel into the interior of the shoe and then wear the shoe while standing on the collapsed heel. The folded down fold-down heel includes a plurality of bumps or ridges positioned to provide acupressure therapy to the wearer when folded down, but the heel may alternately be folded up so that the shoe may be worn in the traditional manner.
