Motorized shoe with gesture control
An article of footwear includes a motorized tensioning system, sensors, and a gesture control system. Based on information received from one or more sensors the gesture control system may detect a prompting gesture and enters an armed mode for receiving further instructions. In the armed mode the system may detect a variety of different control gestures that correspond to different tensioning commands.
SHOE COMPONENT
A shoe component includes a base structure which is substantially shaped so as to reproduce at least partially the sole of a foot of a user, the base structure having an upper surface which is designed to be directed toward the foot and a lower surface which is opposite the upper surface, the component comprising one or more through holes and one or more blind holes provided in the base structure. The one or more through holes are in communication with one or more of the one or more blind holes through one or more channels provided in the base structure.
SHOE SOLE, AND SHOE PROVIDED WITH SHOE SOLE
A shoe sole, to which an upper member is joined, the shoe sole including a bottom receiving part corresponding to a bottom of the upper member, and a rising part that is formed to rise upwardly from an upper side of the bottom receiving part so as to cover an outer surface of a side of the upper member, wherein the bottom receiving part is formed with vent grooves each recessed in a thickness direction from the upper surface of the bottom receiving part, wherein the rising part is formed with vent holes each penetrating therethrough in a thickness direction of the rising part, and wherein the vent hole is formed to have a vertically elongated shape extending from an upper end side to a lower end side of the rising part, and to be in communication with the vent groove.
Ventilated article of footwear
A ventilated article of footwear, a boot or a shoe, has a disconnectable footwear portion partly detachably connected to the outer contour portion of the sole of the article of footwear. One or more connectors are secured on the top surface of the sole outer contour portion adjacent the disconnectable footwear portion and actionable to disconnect and reconnect the disconnectable footwear portion to the sole outer contour portion to permit the entrance of air between the sole outer contour portion and a lower edge of the disconnectable footwear portion to ventilate at least a portion of a users foot.

Based on information received from one or more sensors the gesture control system may detect a prompting gesture and enters an armed mode for receiving further instructions. In the armed mode the system may detect a variety of different control gestures that correspond to different tensioning commands.
PROFESSIONAL WORK SHOE WITH REINFORCED HEEL AND RELATED MANUFACTURING PROCESS
The present invention relates to a professional work shoe (1) with a reinforced heel, comprising an upper (2) and a layered sole (3) associated with said upper (2). According to the invention, said professional work shoe (1) comprises a reinforced heel (10) made of a thermoplastic polymer associated respectively with said upper (2) and with said layered sole (3), said reinforced heel (10) comprising a plurality of through openings (11), wherein at least one waterproof and breathable membrane (12) is fixed to said reinforced heel (10) at least in correspondence with said through openings (11), said professional work shoe (1) further comprising an inner lining (13) adapted to cover at least the inner surface of said reinforced heel (10).

The one or more through holes are in communication with one or more of the one or more blind holes through one or more channels provided in the base structure.
Footwear Having Sensor System
A sensor system is adapted for use with an article of footwear and includes an insert member including a first layer and a second layer, a port connected to the insert and configured for communication with an electronic module, a plurality of force and/or pressure sensors on the insert member, and a plurality of leads connecting the sensors to the port.
Shoe having a sole structure and an air pump device for blowing air into a shoe interior space
A shoe has an air pump device comprising a bellows formed in a cavity in a heel area of the sole structure. The cavity has an average height of at least 4 mm and extends horizontally over most of the surface of the heel area, so that a support strip of the compressible material of the at least one intermediate layer remains between the cavity and the outside edges of the sole structure on the sides and at the heel, wherein the support strip extends vertically over the full height of the cavity and the average width of the support strip is not more than 20% of the maximum width of the heel area measured transversely to the walking direction. The compressible material has an average hardness between 30 and 55 Shore-A at least in the area of the support strip.
