ARTICLE WITH INTEGRAL LOOPS AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING
20210102323 · 2021-04-08 · ·

A method of manufacturing an article may include loading a soluble bobbin thread into an embroidery machine and then driving a needle thread through a base sheet with a needle of the embroidery machine according to a programmed first pattern that provides a series of loops of the needle thread extending outward from a bobbin side of the base sheet. The method may further include bonding the needle thread to a needle side of the base sheet opposite from the bobbin side. A spacer layer may be disposed at the bobbin side of the base sheet, and may be removed after the needle thread is bonded to the base sheet. The loops may be loops of a hook-and-loop fastener or ball control features in various articles manufactured according to the method.

Attachable fabric assembly

A fabric assembly includes a knitted fabric and a filament. The knitted fabric is adapted to move between a stretched state extended along a direction of an applied force, and a relaxed state. The filament is disposed in the knitted fabric, and includes a plurality of loops longitudinally spaced apart from one-another. Each loop of the plurality of loops are adapted to project outward from the knitted fabric when in the stretched state, and substantially retract into the knitted fabric when in the relaxed state.

POLYESTER FABRIC HOOK-AND-LOOP FASTENER AND MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR SAME

A polyester woven-fabric hook-and-loop fastener has a warp yarn thickness Tb which is 0.94 times or less of a warp yarn thickness Ts. A selvage area having a constant width is present on two opposite ends, continuously in a line form in the warp direction, without misalignment in the weft direction. As a result, when the polyester woven-fabric hook-and-loop fastener is sewn onto a garment or the like, a sewing thread sewn to the selvage area is in a straight line without meandering, and thus a sewn product excellent in appearance can be obtained.

Touch fastener female material, touch fastener, and absorbent article

Problem: To provide a touch fastener female material which can achieve a good printed appearance without using a substrate layer such as a printed layer support film and which has excellent engaging properties and durability, and a touch fastener and absorbent article containing the touch fastener female material. Solution: A touch fastener female material including a knitted fabric; the knitted fabric composed of back yarns, middle yarns, and front yarns; at least 50% of the back yarns being finished yarns; and the back yarns being arranged in accordance with a 0-0/N-N (where N is an odd number) knit structure.

FASTENING DEVICE, METHOD OF PRODUCTION AND FASTENING SYSTEM THEREOF

A fastening device has a plurality of individual spaced-apart interlocking elements made of a plastics material, each of which projects towards one side from a carrier part by being provided with a stem part and a head part. The number of interlocking elements is 100 to 200 pieces per cm.sup.2, preferably 120 pieces per cm.sup.2. The diameter of the stem part of an interlocking element is 150 to 250 m, preferably 213 m. The height of the interlocking element, calculated from the root-side base on the carrier part to the head-part end, is 1200 to 2200 m, preferably 1500 to 1980 m. The dimension of the largest head-part diameter of an interlocking element is 200 to 400 m, preferably 220 to 290 m.

A hook-and-loop fastener including a base cloth composed of warps, a weft, and engaging element yarns and engaging elements formed of the engaging element yarns and provided on a surface of the base cloth. The hook-and-loop fastener includes a hollow woven part satisfying at least four specific requirements.

WATCHBANDS WITH BUCKLES AND WOVEN FABRICS

A watchband can comfortably secure an electronic device to a wrist of a user. The watchband can include a base having a contact surface opposite an engagement surface and an engagement ribbon forming loops on the engagement surface of the base for receiving a hook of a buckle. The engagement ribbon can be interwoven with the base to provide secure anchoring for the hook within one of the loops. The woven portions of the watchband can be securely coupled to end structures, such as the buckle, retaining rings, and/or a connector. The watchband provides adjustable lengths to accommodate different fit configurations as desired.

METHOD FOR PRODUCING A TOUCH-AND-CLOSE FASTENER PART

A method for producing a touch-and-close fastener part includes producing a base structure from a thread system having individual loops which are at least partially of a polyamide or polyester plastics material. At least a portion of the loops are cut to form two stem-like loop ends. The loop ends are heated at a predeterminable temperature and for a predeterminable heating time until a head shape is produced as a thickening at the respective loop end under the surface tension of the plastics material. The head shape is formed with a convex upper side which, at the point of a linear transition, merges into a concave interlocking surface which is seamlessly transferred into the adjoining stem-like loop end for an interlocking element.

Conductive surface fastener and production method therefor

A conductive hook-and-loop fastener that has a high engagement force, undergoes less decrease in conductivity even after repeated engagement and release, and is significantly flexible. The conductive hook-and-loop fastener includes a base cloth containing a woven fabric, having existing on one surface thereof plural loop engagement elements including a multifilament yarn including as at least a part thereof a conductive filament, and the multifilament yarn constituting the loop engagement elements is inwoven in a warp direction of the woven fabric.
