The clasp (24) comprises a loop (26) extending toward the base portion (12), the free end of the loop (26) extending away from the first leg portion (14) to provide an abutment surface (28) for the second leg portion (16) directed toward the first leg portion (14) when the pin (10) is in a closed position. The pin (10), when in the closed position, forms a closed loop having a tapered shape such that the closed loop is narrowest adjacent to the base portion (12).
