A member for an accessory includes: a base portion that is connected to a part of an accessory; and a movable portion that is supported to be capable of turning relative to the base portion, and that opens and closes the clasp member for accessory by the turning. The clasp member is separably coupled to a coupling subject portion. A base-side coupling portion of the base portion is arranged on one side in a longitudinal direction of the base portion, the one side being opposite to another side on which a connecting part of the base portion is arranged, the connecting part being connected to the part of the accessory.
Gated safety hook
A gated safety hook includes a structural, load bearing frame, a gate, and a user actuated catch. The gate closes automatically in response to an object being mounted on the hook, the catch automatically moves to lock the gate closed in response to an object being mounted on the hook, and the gate cannot be opened with an object mounted on the hook without engaging against the object.

RETRACTABLE JEWELRY CLASP
A retractable jewelry clasp may be used such that the user may pull a cord out from the reel or stretch an elastic band to lengthen the jewelry piece, fitting the jewelry piece over the appropriate body part, such as the head, hand, wrist, foot, etc. The user may then release the cord or elastic such that it retracts into the bead or snaps back, allowing the jewelry to be worn as designed without the inconvenience of operating a small clasp. The retractable jewelry clasp may be retrofitted to fit existing jewelry. The retractable mechanism may be contained within a bead and may include a locking mechanism such that the cord length may be varied to suit the wearer's preference.
Audible Wristwatch Assembly
An audible wristwatch assembly for alerting a blind user of the time of day and calendar date includes a strap that is worn around a user's wrist. The strap is extended through a housing and the housing has a recess therein. An electronic clock is positioned within the housing to track the time of day and the calendar date. A speaker is coupled to the housing to emit audible sounds outwardly from the housing. An announcement button is movably coupled to the housing, and the announcement button is positioned in the recess to inhibit the announcement button from being inadvertently depressed. The speaker audibly emits the time of day and the calendar date when the announcement button is depressed to alert the user to the time of day and the calendar date.
