A cantilever umbrella has an upstanding mast and a cantilever arm adapted to support a canopy. The mast has an interior region defined by a longitudinally extending channel with a longitudinally aligned opening extending from the interior to the exterior of the mast. A carriage resides within the channel and is adapted for travel within the channel. Raising the carriage within the channel causes the cantilever to transition to the open position, and lowering of the carriage causes the cantilever to transition to the closed position.

A solar-powered umbrella comprises a column, an upper nest (3) having a battery assembly (2) and a plurality of external solar panel modules (1), and a lower nest (7) having an LED light assembly (10); a plurality of solar panels (1.3) are detachably connected to an input end of the battery assembly (2) through a quick-connect interface; the column has a DC interface (63), the lower nest (7) has a DC connector (73); when the umbrella is opened, the lower nest (7) moves upward and the DC connector (73) is inserted into the DC interface (63), and the power supply system is electrically connected to the LED light assembly (10) to form a lighting circuit. The umbrella is reasonable in structure, easy to use, and it is mounted stably and reliably and also provides a wider illumination range.

A rotary umbrella seat for an umbrella comprises a rotary base (1), a sleeve welding piece (2) and a pedal component (3); wherein the sleeve welding piece (2) comprises a sleeve (21) connected to a base plate (22); a lower end of a column (20) of the umbrella is slid over the sleeve (21) and rest on the rotary base (1); the pedal component (3) comprises a pedal (31) connected to a pedal shaft (32); the base plate (22) has a plurality of positioning holes (221), the pedal shaft (32) is disengaged from the base plate (22) when the pedal is pressed down, the pedal shaft is engaged to the rotary base when the pedal is released. The present invention is simple in structure, easy to operate, stable and reliable to use, and can easily realize the rotation of the seat and adjust the position of the umbrella, so it is worth popularizing.

A support assembly having a versatile structure capable of use with a variety of different products, devices, etc. intended for outdoor and/or indoor use such as, but not limited to, furniture, and/or umbrella or shade structures. The support assembly includes a body having a plurality of connector structures fixedly connected in outwardly extending, collectively surrounding relation thereto. The connector structures movably and removably interconnect one or more inserts in overlying relation to an outer surface of the body. When the body defines a support pole for an umbrella assembly, the plurality of connectors extend outwardly from the inserts in movable engagement with a canopy activating hub, thereby maintaining a spacing between the hub and the inserts, concurrent to travel of the hub along the length of the body.

An umbrella assembly includes a rotation base. The rotation base can include a foot pedal for alternately enabling rotation and locking rotation of the umbrella assembly relative to the base. The actuator assembly can include a pin held in place by a clip for locking and enabling the rotation.

An embodiment of the present invention relates to a portable shelter, whether being of the type having a floating canopy or an umbrella. The shelter includes a support including an upright. A canopy is supported by the support. The canopy includes an expandable frame, and a sheet of material supported by the frame. The frame includes retractable ribs supporting the sheet. The frame also includes a stretcher arrangement for stretching out each rib from the support. The stretcher arrangement includes a first stretcher for coupling between the support and the rib; and a second stretcher for coupling to the first stretcher.

A parasol includes a pole of a tension rod-type between a ceiling surface and a floor surface of a building, a lower hub penetrated by the pole and moves in the vertical direction along the pole, an upper hub fixed to a predetermined position of the pole, ribs joined to the upper hub, struts provided with respect to each rib and connecting the ribs and the lower hub, a handle operation unit for moving the lower hub along the pole, and a sheet between the ribs. The length of the pole in the vertical direction is adjustable while the position of the sheet is maintained at a height within a certain range from the floor surface.

A sunshade umbrella capable of rotating left and right includes a base, a vertical column, a transverse rod, a drawing rod, an umbrella frame, a rotating mechanism for controlling the umbrella frame to rotate left and right, and an adjustment handle for driving the rotating mechanism to rotate. The umbrella frame has a lengthened rib, and a bottom end of the lengthened rib is connected to the rotating mechanism. The rotating mechanism includes an upper clutch tooth mechanism and a lower clutch tooth mechanism. The adjustment handle is disposed on the lower clutch tooth mechanism. The upper clutch tooth mechanism and the lower clutch tooth mechanism are respectively disposed at the top end and the bottom end of the transverse rod, and are connected with each other through a connecting rod.

An umbrella base includes an elongated receiver and a weighted housing coupled to and at least partially surrounding the elongated receiver. The weighted housing includes a bottom surface configured to be placed directly on an underlying surface and an opposite top surface. A retention system is supported on the weighted housing. The retention system includes one or more retractable straps mounted to the weighted housing, and a fastener device coupled to a free end of each of the one or more retractable straps and configured to releasably attach to outdoor furniture. The fastener device is adapted to selectively extend outwards from the weighted housing via the one or more retractable straps so that when the fastener device is attached to the outdoor furniture the weighted housing weighs down the outdoor furniture.
