DUAL-POWER PORTABLE-USE HAIR DRYER
A dual-power portable-use hair dryer system and method for drying hair providing a hair dryer which can be carried on the back or the side of a user who can be a person whose own hair is being dried or a person acting as a stylist drying the hair of others, which can be operated either on AC mains power or on an incorporated DC battery array, where AC mains operation provides free movement within the range of the AC cord and DC battery operation provides unlimited free movement, and where use with a soft bonnet hair-drying attachment allows hands-free use, and use by a stylist allows free movement from person to person. The dual-power portable-use hair dryer draws pre-heated air away from the electric and electronic components for the dual purposes of cooling the components and reducing the expenditure of energy through the heater.

Dryer
A dryer for drying hair or clothes is disclosed. The dryer includes a head and a handle attached to the head. The dryer further includes ultrasonic devices, a controller, a vacuum pump, and a reservoir. The head has a surface on which inlet holes are formed. The ultrasonic devices are positioned on the surface of the head. The ultrasonic devices produce ultrasonic vibrations that break down water molecules into mist. The controller controls an operation of the ultrasonic devices.
Dryer and holder
A dryer includes a plurality of first electronic parts including a fan and a heater, a first battery to supply power to the first electronic parts, and a first controller to control power of the first battery. The first controller detects a charging ratio of the first battery, enters a first power saving mode if the charging ratio is a threshold charging ratio or less, and limits power supplied to at least one of the plurality of first electronic parts. A holder for holding the dryer includes a plurality of second electronic parts including a plurality of contact terminals, a second battery to supply power to the second electronic parts, and a second controller to detect a charging ratio of the second battery and enter a second power saving mode to limit power supplied to at least one of the plurality of second electronic parts.
HAIR DRYER
A hair dryer has a primary air flow path and a secondary air flow path. The primary air flow path is operable to dry hair using suction in a first mode of operation. The secondary air flow path is operable to blow dry hair in a second mode of operation. In the primary mode of operation, the motor and fan assembly of the secondary air flow path is operated in reverse to direct air towards hair that is being dried by suction.
HAIR DRYER
A portable hand held hair dryer has a heating element has a longitudinally extending heating element and a plurality of fins that are press fitted onto the heating element whereby a collar of the fins is deformed to secure the heating member in the fins.
METHOD OF CONTROLLING A HAIRCARE APPLIANCE
Disclosed herein is a method of controlling a haircare appliance including a heater. The method includes measuring a temperature of output air of the haircare appliance to obtain a measured output air temperature. The method includes comparing the measured output air temperature to a desired output air temperature. The method includes determining a desired heater temperature based on the comparison of the measured output air temperature to the desired output air temperature. The method includes predicting a predicted heater temperature. The method includes comparing the predicted heater temperature to the desired heater temperature. The method includes outputting a control signal based on the comparison of the predicted heater temperature to the desired heater temperature.
Hair dryer with side switches
A hair dryer include a housing having a handle portion, a head portion located an upper end of the handle, and a nozzle portion extending from the head portion, and at least one side switch located on a side of the head portion or the nozzle portion. The at least one switch is actuatable to effect a momentary deactivation of the hair dryer.

Portable hair drying assembly
A portable hair drying assembly for drying a user's hair includes a bowl that is wearable on a user's head thereby facilitating the bowl to be in thermal communication with hair on the user's head. The bowl has an air chamber that is positioned within the bowl and a plurality of air apertures that is each in fluid communication with the air chamber. A housing is removably coupled to the bowl and the housing has an intake and an exhaust. The exhaust is in fluid communication with the air chamber when the housing is removably coupled to the bowl. A blower is positioned within the housing to blow air onto the user's hair when the bowl is worn on the user's head. A heating unit is positioned within the housing to heat the air being blown by the blower thereby enhancing drying the user's hair.
