A device for holding and tensioning a segment of thread for epilation having a thread-holding chuck configured to receive, lock, and selectively release a segment of epilation thread; and an attachment to secure the thread-holding chuck to a user-worn element of gear, such as but not limited to a neck strap, a head band, a face shield, a vest, a button, a button hole, a safety pin, a hat, or a shirt.
Clamping head for epilator and epilator incorporating such
Clamping heads are disclosed with epilators and clamping hairs, and can include a first clamping unit and at least two spring plates arranged adjacent to each other on a plane traversing an axis of rotation of a stopper plate, each of said spring plate having a first spring plate clamping surface, and said stopper plate is adjacent to said first clamping unit and having a stopper plate clamping surface opposing said first spring plate clamping surface of each said spring plate, such that during rotation of said stopper plate relative to said first clamping unit, said first clamping unit reciprocally moves away from and towards said stopper plate such that a first space between said first spring plate clamping surface and said stopper plate clamping surface opens and closes for clamping hair.
SKIN TREATMENT DEVICE
The present application is concerned with a skin treatment device that has a handle section arranged to be held in a human user's hand, a treatment head section having a skin treatment unit and a skin contact frame having a skin contact surface, the skin contact frame at least partially encircling a skin treatment area and a vibration generation unit being coupled with the skin contact frame to vibrate at least a portion of the skin contact frame at an ultrasonic frequency.
PERSONAL CARE DEVICE CONFIGURED TO PERFORM A LIGHT-BASED HAIR REMOVAL
According to an aspect, there is provided a personal care device (52) for performing a light-based hair removal or photo-epilation operation on a body of a subject. The personal care device (52) comprises a housing (54) that includes a first window or opening (68), a light source configured to generate light to perform the light-based hair removal or photo-epilation operation, wherein the light source is arranged in the housing such that light emitted by the light source illuminates a part of the body, a receiving member in or on the housing (54) for receiving and retaining a consumer electronic device (62) in or on the personal care device (52), and an optical system (80) in the housing (54) for enabling an imaging unit (78) of a consumer electronic device (62) retained in the recess (60) to obtain images of a part of the body via the first window or opening (68).
HAIR REMOVING DEVICE
The present disclosure provides a hair removing device, including: a reflector, a light source, a first light-transmitting body, a heat dissipation base and a refrigerating member. The light source is arranged inside the reflector and can emit light. The reflector can reflect light, such that the hair removing device can emit light to remove the hair from the skin. The first light-transmitting body and the reflector cooperatively define a cavity to receive the light source. A body of the light source is suspended in the cavity. Two sides of the heat dissipation base are thermally coupled to the reflector and the refrigerating member respectively.
Hair pulling device
A hair pulling device includes a machine body which is provided with a hair clamping support (1) and a driving device. A fixation shaft (3) which is fixed and non-rotary as well as a plurality of positioning frames (2) which are driven by the driving device to rotate around the fixation shaft (3) are disposed on the hair clamping support (1); a plurality of groups of hair clamping assembly units which are rotated with the positioning frames (2) are disposed, along an axial direction of the fixation shaft (3), on the positioning frames (2); the fixation shaft (3) is fixedly sleeved by a positioning shaft (4); The hair pulling device has high hair clamping efficiency and reliable and stable clamping force, and avoids the problems that hair pulling fails due to failure of an elastic part or hair pulling fails due to insufficient clamping force.
LIGHTED EPILATOR
A lighted epilating device is configured in an elongated manner, such as a substantially cylindrical configuration, with an operating area of a tweezer mechanism exposed at a side and on one end thereof, with the tweezer mechanism capable of performing an epilating function to areas of a user's skin placed at the operating area. A light source is contained in the main body and is configured to illuminate the operating area and a shield which surrounds the tweezer mechanism. The shield further has an opening defining the operating area and is transparent or translucent to provide viewing and further illumination.
Hair removal apparatus
The present invention relates to mechanical hair removal. In order to provide a handheld hair removal apparatus with improved detection of fine hair, a handheld hair removal apparatus (10) is provided that comprises a hair removal arrangement (12), a support structure (14) for supporting the hair removal arrangement, and a light source (16) attached to the support structure. During operation, a main movement direction (20) of the apparatus is provided. The hair removal arrangement comprises a skin contact portion (22) extending at least along a primary axis (24) extending perpendicularly to the main movement direction for contacting a user's skin during operation. Further, the light source can be arranged in an operational position (P.sub.O) at a side of the hair removal arrangement in front of the skin contact portion with respect to the main movement direction. Still further, in the operational position the light source provides a light beam (28) with a main propagation axis (30) enclosing an angle of incidence (32) of less than 30° with an imaginary plane (33) extending parallel to the main movement direction and the primary axis.
