An applicator for applying makeup to keratin fibers, the applicator having an applicator member designed to apply the composition to said fibers, notably present in the form of tufts, and preferably to the underlying skin, the applicator member having a plastics body, the cross section of which is flattened along at least a part of its length, the flattened cross section defining a first direction corresponding to the width of the section and a second direction, perpendicular to the first, corresponding to the thickness of the section, the thickness being less than the width, the body having at least one first application face delimiting on one side the thickness of the flattened cross section, spikes attached to the first application face, and flocking present on a portion of the surface of the body adjacent to the distal end thereof.

A cosmetic-product packaging, wherein the cosmetic-product packaging includes: an outer container, and a lid that is pivotally coupled to the outer container, wherein the outer container and the lid are provided with a first stud and a second stud respectively, wherein the studs are provided with respective flanges that are accessible externally to the cosmetic-product packaging, wherein a flexible cord is attached to at least one of the first and second studs and is wrappable under one or more flanges of the studs; an inner container that is mountable within the outer container, wherein, in operation, the inner container accommodates at least one cosmetics product, and the inner container is accommodated within the outer container; and the inner container is user-accessible when the lid is in an open position, wherein the cord is unwrapped.

A hair applicator for the application of medical liquids, hair dye, hair-care products and/or skin care products for the scalp includes a container defining a volume for storing the liquids, in particular a bottle. The container has a neck, a cap configured to close the container at the neck and having at least one application tip with at least one application nozzle for the application of the liquids. The cap is hollow and comprises a valve configured to close the at least one application nozzle. The valve comprises an inner member that is encompassed by the cap and is rotatably attached to the neck of the container and has a valve member configured to close the application nozzle. The cap is axially movable between a first closed position and a second open position by rotation of the cap.

A cosmetic receptacle system consisting of a receptacle (2), which is self-supporting or consists of flexible film over a majority of its volume and one end of which constitutes a withdrawal opening in the form of a tapered neck (4), and a cap (4a), whereas the system also has several concealing sleeves (5) with different outer cross-sectional shapes and several adapter rings (8), each adapter ring (8) having a socket for the neck (4) of the receptacle (2), enclosing the latter in the circumference direction, and constituting at least one stop, which prevents the receptacle (2) from being pulled outward through the adapter ring (8), and each adapter ring (8), at its end oriented toward the bottom (7) of the receptacle (2), having an adapter section (11) whose outer cross-section essentially corresponds to the outer cross-section that a concealing sleeve (5) that corresponds to this adapter ring (8) has at its free end oriented toward the neck (4) of the receptacle (2).

An application container includes a leading cylinder that internally contains an application material, and has an opening through which the application material is exposed. The opening extends in a major axis direction, and has a minor axis direction. The leading cylinder has a front edge curved to bulge to an outside of the leading cylinder from a tip located on one side in the major axis direction toward the other side. When viewed from the other side, the opening extends rearward from the tip in a slit shape. A first application material holder located on both sides of the opening in the minor axis direction is formed in a tip portion of the leading cylinder having an outer surface extending rearward while being curved to bulge to the outside of the leading cylinder from the tip.

The device includes two internal storage locations separated by a moveable plug. The invention relates to a method of manufacturing a cosmetic article having a decorative embossed and/or debossed surface, based on at least one cosmetic product hot-poured into a container, this method making use of: a receptacle forming said container and having a peripheral wall and a bottom, said receptacle having at least one filling area, each filling area extending from the bottom of said receptacle and having a filling hole and at least one vent hole, and a closure member that cooperates with the receptacle to define an enclosed filling cavity with the at least one filling area, and having an embossed and/or debossed surface adapted to give the cosmetic product poured into said cavity an embossed and/or debossed surface, said method comprising at least the following steps: a) positioning the receptacle on the closure member so that the embossed and/or debossed surface extends into the filling area; b) hot-injecting the cosmetic product into the filling cavity by means of a filling head inserted in the filling hole; c) separating the receptacle from the closure member.
