A nail groomer to aid elderly and flexibility-challenged individuals, is convertible between: a first configuration adapted for filing toenails, and a second configuration adapted for filing fingernails. The nail groomer includes: a grooming head, shaft, and handle configured to be grasped by a user's hand to manipulate the nail groomer. The grooming head has a housing, a motor, and a filing bit with an abrasive surface. The motor rotates the filing bit, so the abrasive surface can abrade portions of a nail. A housing opening releasably receives one end of the shaft, to form the first configuration, and a particular shaft length permits positioning the filing bit at a user's toenails when the handle is grasped and manipulated by the user. With the shaft detached from the grooming head, the user grasps and manipulates the grooming head's housing directly with one hand, for filing of fingernails of the other hand.

Disclosed is a portable electric nail file, and a system comprising an electric nail file handpiece having a motor and a power unit having a rechargeable battery for supplying power to said electric nail file. The power unit has manual digital control interface in the form of a click wheel to enable a user to control the direction and speed of the motor of the electric nail file. The interface communicates to a processor for controlling the operation of the electric nail file the processor executing stored software instructions. The device and system include a communication element for receiving signals from a foot pedal by low power radio signal control of the direction and speed of the electric nail file motor. A docking cradle engages the power unit and through metal contacts is operable to recharge the battery of the power unit. The cradle also incorporates display indicating speed and direction.

Provided is a nail grinder that includes a housing, a grinding member, a dust suction fan, a driving member, an ultraviolet lamp, and a first illumination lamp. The housing is provided with a grinding chamber, a dust collection chamber, and a fan installation chamber, which are connected in sequence. The grinding member is rotatably arranged in the grinding chamber. The dust suction fan is rotatably arranged in the fan installation chamber. The driving member is used to drive the grinding member and the dust suction fan to rotate. The ultraviolet lamp is arranged on the housing and used for emitting ultraviolet light. The first illumination lamp is arranged on the housing, and the light-emitting side of the illumination lamp is arranged to face toward the grinding member. The technical solution of this disclosure enriches the functions of the nail grinder.
