An adjustable three dimensional mannequin head is provided for fitting a variety of head gear including but not limited to wigs, hats, caps, helmets and similar items. The adjustable mannequin head consist of a plurality of parts that move in a synchronized manner to expand and contract the size of the adjustable mannequin head to allow fitting to size; wigs, hats, and similar items. The mannequin head consist of four quadrants that make up the crown of the head. These four quadrants are mechanically adjusted by a single screw, which when turned will either expand or contract the adjustable mannequin head based on the direction the screw is turned. The adjustable mannequin head provides matching and fitting head gear to individual heads.

A one-piece wall mountable wig holder comprising of a long back wall plate with multiple protruding extensions for the wig head to sit onto a dowel. The unit is configured to accommodate multiple heads and attach to the wall thus eliminating the need of occupying floor space and installing additional racks. In an embodiment of the present invention, the long back wall plate has pair of holes drilled for hanging the wig holder on a wall. The long back wall plate has plurality of holes for screwing and attaching the protruding extensions that support the dummy wig head. The protruding extensions have dowels affixed on their surface on which dummy wig heads can be kept.

The adjustable mannequin head comprises a cranial structure further comprising independently adjustable sections that correspond to the cranial bones of a human skull. The independently adjustable sections adjust such that the exterior surfaces of the adjustable mannequin head can be adjusted to resemble the shape of the head of a client. The adjustable mannequin head comprises the cranial structure, a plurality of bolts, an anchor structure, and an orientation structure. The cranial structure supports the postiche during the hairdressing activities. The plurality of bolts adjusts the shape of the exterior surfaces of the cranial structure. The anchor structure secures the plurality of bolts into position. The orientation structure provides a hairdresser with cues that allow the hairdresser to envision better how the postiche will look.
