Brush retrofit for a snow removal vehicle
A brush retrofit for mounting behind a snow plow blade of a snow removal vehicle is disclosed. The brush retrofit includes a base frame, a stationary brush assembly, a retrofit mount, a brush elevation actuator, and a retrofit mount. The stationary brush assembly is movably mounted to the base frame. The retrofit mount is configured to secure the base frame to a support structure of the snow removal vehicle behind the snow plow blade. The brush elevation actuator when activated, moves the stationary brush assembly relative to the base frame between a raised storage position and a lowered in-use position. The retrofit mount is configured to secure the base frame to a support structure of the snow removal vehicle behind the snow plow blade.
PENDULUM ROCKER BRUSH ASSEMBLY
A pendulum rocker brush for a vehicle wash system is provided including a rocker arm, a rotatable coupler, a motor assembly, and a rocker brush head. Both the rocker brush head and motor assembly can be suspended from the coupler, freely dangling therefrom under the force of gravity, in an unbiased manner. The rocker brush head can pivot relative to the rocker arm through a swing angle between 10 and 45 degrees relative to vertical. The rotatable coupler and rocker brush head can be disposed at a pivoting angle between 10 and 45 degrees relative to a conveyor direction which a vehicle follows. When the rocker brush head encounters an opposing force above a movement threshold from the vehicle, the rocker brush head and the motor assembly can swing outward to the swing angle and at the pivoting angle so the vehicle is not damaged.
Vehicle washer brush panel with mold-injected partially embedded nodules, channel well devices, and methods for manufacturing same
A vehicle washer brush panel and channel well device, and methods for manufacturing the same. The vehicle washer brush panel includes a contiguous section, elongated brush panel fingers, and partially embedded nodules. A method for manufacturing a vehicle washer brush panel includes creating a hole near an edge of a cloth brush panel, sandwiching the cloth brush panel between an upper section and a lower section of a die, aligning a mold cavity of the die with the hole, and mold-injecting an injection material through an injection orifice of the die so that the injection material fills the hole in the cloth brush panel and the mold cavity of the die. A vehicle washer channel well device includes an elongated well, a first flange, a second flange, a first elongated screw channel, and a second elongated screw channel. One or more vehicle washer channel well devices are secured to a frame.
ROTATING BRISTLE DEVICE AND METHOD OF USE
A material treatment device intended for use for human or animal hair includes a plurality of rods arranged circumferentially as part of a rod barrel and a handle attached to the rod barrel for rotatable support thereof. A mechanism is provided to rotate the rod barrel in a first direction and a second mechanism is provided to rotate each of the rods separately from the rod barrel in a second direction opposite the first direction. The material being contacted by the rods during use of the hair treatment device rolls away from the contacted rod in the second direction or permitting each of the rods to freely spin during rod barrel rotation. The device can also include bristles that move with respect to the rod barrel or are fixed thereto, the bristles moving with the rod barrel rotation.
ELECTRICAL TOOTH BRUSH DEVICE HAVING SUCTION AND RELATED KIT AND METHOD
An oral care system comprising: a. an electrical motor b. a base assembly comprising: i. an elongated base-assembly main body defining an elongate axis; and/or ii. a battery or a battery compartment optionally including electrical contacts for a battery, the battery and/or the battery compartment being electrically wired to the electrical motor; and c. a head assembly is disclosed herein. Methods and kits are also disclosed.
CLEANING UNIT COMPRISING AGITATOR
Disclosed is a cleaning unit comprising a variable brush portion. The cleaning unit according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises a shaft capable of reciprocating along an axial direction, wherein a first cam protrudes from the outer circumferential surface of the shaft. In addition, the brush portion is arranged on the outer circumferential surface of a body member surrounding the shaft, and the brush portion includes a second cam engaged with the first cam. When the shaft is moved in the axial direction, the first cam pushes the second cam in a radial direction, whereby the brush portion may protrude in the radial direction. That is, as the shaft reciprocates in the axial direction, the length of the brush portion protruding from the outer circumferential surface of the body member may vary.
Plastic clip core assembly
A plastic clip core assembly is disclosed for use in a rotary brush in a carwash. The plastic clip core is comprised of a plastic clip core, a plurality of longitudinal washing elements (“LWE”) and an equal plurality of plastic clips. The plastic clip core assembly is mated to a rotational hub, creating a rotary brush. The plastic clip core has a plurality of semi-cylindrical void cavities, each with an adjoining cylindrical void cavity. Each plastic clip has two parallel members, a first member and a second member. Each LWE has an upper edge, lower edge, free edge, and a cylindrical mount. A first member of a plastic clip fits into the cylindrical mount of the LWE and the semi-cylindrical void cavity. The second member of the plastic clip fits into the cylindrical void cavity, thus securing the LWE to the plastic clip core. The plastic clip core mates with the rotational hub in a no-slip condition.
Rotary brush, for motor vehicle washing systems
A rotary washing brush assembly for motor vehicle washing systems comprises a plurality of cleaning elements, each of which comprises a plate body applied to a washing brush central shaft; the plate body having a substantially elongated configuration, extending according to a longitudinal axis thereof, and including a plurality of cut-outs defining a plurality of tapering strips having corner portions including either bevelled or non-bevelled corner portions.
Tool-less spring attachment to c-channel and method of using same
A method and device for attaching and detaching material to a c-channel groove, including attachment and detachment between first and second objects already attached to the groove. The device comprises a coil-shaped element that is resiliently compressible and connected to a desired material. Through biasing, the coil-shaped element is navigable into an aperture of the c-channel groove at a point along the c-channel groove between the ends of the c-channel groove and positionable such that at least a portion of the biased coil-shaped element is in the c-channel groove. Upon restoring the biased coil-shaped element toward a second, larger dimension, it is secured in the c-channel groove and the material connected to the coil-shaped element is attached to the c-channel groove, including between the first object and the second object, if present.
Tool-Less Spring Attachment to C-Channel and Method of Using Same
A method and device for attaching and detaching material to a c-channel groove without requiring tools and without needing to access an end of the c-channel. The device comprises a coil-shaped element that is resiliently compressible and connected to a desired material. Through biasing or twisting the coil-shaped element, it is insertable at any point along a c-channel groove. The coil-shaped element is secured within the c-channel groove against separation therefrom through friction. A portion of the coil-shaped element can be extended outside of the c-channel groove for easy removal.
