Oral care apparatus
An oral care apparatus that includes an oral care implement and a tracking module detachably coupled to the oral care implement. The oral care implement includes a body having an inner surface that defines an internal cavity. The tracking module may be coupled to the oral care implement by inserting a portion of the tracking module into the internal cavity of the body. The tracking module includes a coupling portion and an electronics portion that are coupled together so as to be fixed together in the axial direction but freely rotatable relative to one another. The tracking module may only be able to be inserted into the internal cavity of the body in a single orientation. Furthermore, when in the internal cavity, the electronics portion of the tracking module may be non-rotatable relative to the body while the coupling portion of the tracking module remains rotatable relative to the body.
Dental brush device
A brush device for an ultrasonic scaler includes: a base having a first end and an opposite second end, the first end and the second end define a longitudinal axis of the base; an insert housing extending from the first end of the base, the insert housing defines an opening sized and shaped to receive a distal end of the ultrasonic scaler and secure the brush device thereto; and a cleaning element extending from the second end of the base, the cleaning element is substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis.
Skin care brush systems having cleansing agent-infused elements
Skin brush heads configured for use with a motorized personal appliance include a body having an inner surface and an outer surface, and a treatment applicator coupled to the outer surface of the body. The treatment applicator includes a plurality of cleansing agent-infused bristles extending away from the outer surface of the body, the plurality of cleansing agent-infused bristles being configured to remove particles from a skin portion by adsorption.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DETERMINING LOCATION AND ORIENTATION OF AN ORAL CARE DEVICE
Systems and methods of determining a location of a brush head within a user's mouth during an oral care routine are provided. Example systems and methods involve: determining, during a learning phase, anchor points defining a quadrant of the mouth of the user and a pressure pattern based on pressure sensor data from a pressure sensor; wherein the pressure pattern includes at least two peaks corresponding to the first or second anchor points or a tooth; generating, during the oral care routine, a pressure signal including at least one peak, a longitudinal component indicating a direction the brush head is moving, and a transverse component indicating an amount of pressure being exerted; analyzing the pressure signal based on the anchor points and the pressure pattern determined during the learning phase; and estimating one or more locations of the brush head within the defined quadrant during the oral care routine.
Toothbrush
An toothbrush having a handle and a head. The handle may include a first component and a second component covering at least a portion of the first component. The first and second components may be chemically compatible. The first and second components may both comprise a hard polyolefin. The first and second components may have different transparencies. In one aspect, the first component may be opaque and the second component may be transparent or semi-transparent. In some aspects, the handle may also include a third component comprising a thermoplastic elastomer. Furthermore, there may be at least one projection extending outwardly from an outer surface of the first component.
Toothbrush with visual and/or other sensory effects
An toothbrush having a handle and a head. The handle may include a first component and a second component covering at least a portion of the first component. The first and second components may be chemically compatible. The first and second components may both comprise a hard polyolefin. The first and second components may have different transparencies. In one aspect, the first component may be opaque and the second component may be transparent or semi-transparent. In some aspects, the handle may also include a third component comprising a thermoplastic elastomer. Furthermore, there may be at least one projection extending outwardly from an outer surface of the first component.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR ADJUSTING BEHAVIOR OF PERSONAL CARE DEVICE BASED ON STATUS OF ORAL CAVITY
A personal care device including at least one sensor (28) configured to obtain sensor data including information about a user; a controller (30) having a feature extraction module (230) and a classifier (240), the feature extraction module configured to extract one or more features from the obtained sensor data, the classifier configured to determine a status of a user based on the extracted one or more features; and a personal care device (10) configured to provide a personal care function and receive one or more control signals to adjust the personal care function based on a determined status of at least a portion of the user's body.
TEETH WHITENING PRODUCT CONTAINING PIEZOELECTRIC MATERIAL
The present invention discloses a teeth whitening product containing a piezoelectric material. The present invention uses a piezoelectric material with piezoelectric effect as a whitening ingredient of the teeth whitening product. The teeth whitening product is applied to teeth and exerts pressure on the tooth surface to activate piezoelectric properties of the piezoelectric material. Thus, abundant reactive species are produced to degrade teeth stains, achieving teeth whitening. The teeth whitening product of the invention is safe and nontoxic; a teeth whitening method is easy to operate, does not cause damage to oral soft tissues, enamel layers on the tooth surface, and the tooth structure, and obtains a long-lasting teeth whitening effect.
Hair brush
A hair brush adapted to impart both a straightening effect and a curling effect on a length of hair includes first and second members. The first member includes a first handle and a first brush head having an inner row of centrally disposed primary teeth, an outer row of bristles mounted on each side of the centrally disposed primary teeth, and a thermal conductive element. The thermal conductive element defines an arcuate surface configured for imparting a curl within a lock of hair. The second member includes a second handle, a second brush head having a second head frame defining a longitudinal channel, and an elongate member having a wiper segment disposed on each side of the longitudinal channel, and configured to engage the length of hair to facilitate one of straightening of the length of hair or removing substances from the length of hair.
VIBRATING TOOTHBRUSH AND ECCENTRIC SHAFT
A vibrating toothbrush and an eccentric shaft are proposed. The vibrating toothbrush includes a head in which bristles are planted, and a handle from which a head coupler protrudes, the head being detachably coupled to the head coupler. The toothbrush includes an electric motor accommodated in the handle to generate rotating force; and an eccentric shaft rotatably connected to the electric motor, at least a portion thereof being eccentric to generate vibration and thereby transmit vibration to the head coupler. The eccentric shaft includes a motor fixing part connected to the electric motor; an eccentric weight configured to be offset from a rotation center of the electric motor; and a rotating shaft formed of a metal material, and connecting the motor fixing part and the eccentric weight.
