A grooming device for animals includes a glove and one or more grooming pads affixed (possibly molded) thereto. The glove is made from anti-static material, and may additionally be treated with a spray or solution, that is resistant to electrostatic accumulation and discharge caused by friction during the grooming process. The grooming pads include multiple protrusions that are used to cling to and collect extraneous debris and hair from the animal's body and coat. Due to the materials and the placement of the molded pad, the glove facilitates hand movement dexterity and reach. The device also allows the user increased tactility between the thumb and index finger by keeping them free of coverage by the grooming surface. The device may include a soft material on the back of the glove for grooming and brushing sensitive areas of the animal's coat.

An attachment for cleaning a socket is provided including a body with an insertion section of the body for insertion into the socket along an insertion direction and with a connection section of the body for connection to a suction inlet of a vacuum cleaner, the attachment including at least one cleaning element for mechanical cleaning of an inner surface of the socket. The attachment includes at least one bearing element attached to the body, wherein the cleaning element is rotatably mounted on the bearing element relative to the body about an axis of rotation aligned along the insertion direction, and at least one drive element attached to the body for automatically rotating the at least one cleaning element about the axis of rotation. A method for cleaning a socket with the attachment is also provided.

An electronic hair brush device includes a hair brush that has a handle and a head that is disposed on the handle. A plurality of bristles is provided and each of the plurality of bristles is attached to the head of the hair brush to brush hair of a user. Each of the plurality of bristles is comprised of an electrically conductive material to conduct static electricity produced by brushing the plurality of bristles through the user's hair. A power storage unit is integrated into the handle of the hair brush and the power storage unit is in electrical communication with each of the plurality of bristles. In this way the power storage unit can store the static electricity conducted by the plurality of bristles. The power storage unit has an output which can be placed in electrical communication with an electronic device to charge the electronic device.

EDS/UV Brush System for Dust Mitigation

An exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure provides an electrodynamic dust shielding (EDS) system that can comprise a brush, an ultraviolet (UV) enclosure, and a control module. The brush can comprise a plurality of bristles and one or more electrodes interspersed among the plurality of bristles, and can be configured to operate in an EDS-enabled state and a non-EDS-enabled state. The UV enclosure can comprise a cavity that can be configured to receive the brush and a UV emitter that can be configured to radiate UV energy to the plurality of bristles. The control module can be configured to apply an electric potential to the one or more electrodes when the brush is in the EDS-enabled state.
