A lift system includes a support configured to maintain a bed frame thereon. The support is defined by a first swing arm opposing a second swing arm and a pivoting plate opposing an end plate. First ends of the swing arms are configured to swing outward about ends of the pivoting plate. Second ends of the swing arms removably attach to the end plate to form a rectangular structure for securely receiving a bed frame. The lift system also includes a storage unit defined by a lift gate configured within an interior of the storage unit. The lift gate includes a linear actuator for converting the support between a folded and an unfolded position by manipulating the pivoting plate coupled to the linear actuator. A controller is provided for controlling the lift gate.

A transformable piece of furniture transforms between a bed, a sofa and a desk. The furniture includes a bed frame pivotally mounted between a pair of frame members and movable between a horizontal bed orientation and a vertical orientation. A seat member is pivotally mounted to a desk member below the bed frame such that the seat member is exposed when the bed frame is vertically oriented. The desk member can be raised to desk height by raising it and flipping the seat member into a vertical orientation.

A transformable piece of furniture transforms between a bed, a sofa and a desk. The furniture includes a bed frame pivotally mounted between a pair of frame members and movable between a horizontal bed orientation and a vertical orientation. A seat member is pivotally mounted to a desk member below the bed frame such that the seat member is exposed when the bed frame is vertically oriented. The desk member can be raised to desk height by raising it and flipping the seat member into a vertical orientation.

The system, devices and method are for a cantilevered furniture (e.g., floating bed) installation including vertical frame reinforcements and frame brackets for securement to, or adjacent, a wall frame having top and bottom plates and vertically extending wall studs, and providing cantilevered support of a horizontally disposed frame. Horizontal frame supports or arms are coupled to support T-brackets which are installed where desired on the vertical frame reinforcements. The vertical frame reinforcements are secured where desired to the wall frame via top and bottom L-shaped frame brackets. The horizontal frame supports are longitudinally elongate and include support trusses extending and coupled therebetween to support an assembly (e.g., a bed assembly including at least a mattress with a platform or a box spring). For example, there may be six trusses for a parallel arrangement and eight trusses for a perpendicular arrangement.

A lift-lip bed structure comprising: a fixed frame (2); a pivoting frame (5) capable of supporting bedding, mounted pivoting about a transverse pivot axis (6) such that the pivoting frame can pivot between a horizontal position extending forwards and a rear vertical raised position; and a movable support (23) capable of supporting a seat, mounted movable on the fixed frame (2) such that the movable support (23) can be moved between a high advanced position and a low retracted position in which it is lower than in the high advanced position; the movable support (23), in the advanced position, extending at least partially forward of the pivoting frame (5), in the raised position, and the movable support (23), in the retracted position, extending at least partially below and at a distance from the pivoting frame (5), in the extended position.

A lift-lip bed structure comprising: a fixed frame (2); a pivoting frame (5) capable of supporting bedding, mounted pivoting about a transverse pivot axis (6) such that the pivoting frame can pivot between a horizontal position extending forwards and a rear vertical raised position; and a movable support (23) capable of supporting a seat, mounted movable on the fixed frame (2) such that the movable support (23) can be moved between a high advanced position and a low retracted position in which it is lower than in the high advanced position; the movable support (23), in the advanced position, extending at least partially forward of the pivoting frame (5), in the raised position, and the movable support (23), in the retracted position, extending at least partially below and at a distance from the pivoting frame (5), in the extended position.
