Stackable chair
A stacking chair with a frame connected to a rotating seating portion and backrest portion each of the seating portion and backrest portion having matching profiles such that when stacked the weight of the chairs is distributed across facing surfaces that nest together due to matching profiles, the seating portion may rotate through an angle of rotation greater than 90 degrees and the seating and/or backrest portions may include a injection molded foam interior surrounding an internal frame and with a removable cover on the outside of the foam.

Chair
A chair has a base and a support articulated thereon. The support is coupled to a seat and supports the seat. The seat is connected to the support rotatably or pivotably around a rotation axis between a sitting position and a raised position, and the support has at least one receiving region for aligned abutment of a juxtaposed chair of identical design. Provision is made in this context that in the raised position, the seat is pivoted out of the receiving region of the support and exposes the receiving region. The result is to create a chair that, for storage, can be juxtaposed in space-saving fashion with chairs of identical design.
Chair
A folding chair may include a frame that is configured to transition the folding chair between use and storage positions. A seat base may be pivotally coupled thereto at a first particular length from a front end and a receiving portion may be disposed in an upper surface. The receiving portion may include left and right lateral edges, front and rear longitudinal edges, and a depth. The padding material may be disposed in the receiving portion and may have a lateral dimension related to a distance between the front and the rear longitudinal edges, a longitudinal dimension related to a distance between the front and the rear longitudinal edges, and a thickness related to the depth. The padding layer may cover a majority of a top surface of the padding material and of the upper surface. The cover may retain the padding material and the padding layer relative to the seat base.
FOLDABLE CHAIR
The invention relates to a foldable chair that comprises a seat (1) and a back (2) available according to at least an angular position in which an angular distance between the same is minimum and another angular position in which the angular distance between the same is maximum; and first rotational means configured to define a first axis of rotation and arranged for a first relative angular movement between the seat (1) and the back (2); in addition to second rotational means configured to define a second axis of rotation and arranged for a second relative angular movement between the seat (1) and the back (2). In accordance with this arrangement, the first rotational means and the second rotational means are arranged independently with respect to one another for independent angular movements of the seat (1) and of the back (2) with respect to one another.
Chair and backrest for chair
In a chair (1) and a backrest (30) for the chair of the invention, thin back plate extension parts (51) that are continuous with a front surface of a back plate part (31), thinned sections being formed in outside portions, in a width direction of the backrest, on the rear surface side; and reinforcing ribs (52) that protrude from inside end parts of the back plate extension parts (51) in the width direction of the backrest to a rear side are provided in regions of side edge support parts (32) above parts where fitting holes (33) are formed. The reinforcing ribs (52) extend substantially in an upward-downward direction, gradually increase in cross-sectional area on a bottom end side, are connected to the parts where the fitting holes (33) are formed. Additionally, a chair (1a, 101, 201) and a backrest (30) for the chair of the invention are provided with a plate-shaped back plate part (31) that receives a seated person's load, and a pair of side edge support parts (32) that are formed integrally with a pair of facing opposite sides of the back plate part (31) and function as strengthening members. A plurality of openings (34) for facilitating deformation of the back plate part (31) are formed in the back plate part (31). A curved part (35) that is curved toward an opposite back plate side extends from one end side of the back plate part (31). The openings (34) of the back plate part (31) formed in the vicinity of the curved part (35) are formed in the shape of an elongated hole in the extending direction of the side edge support parts (32), and are formed at least in a range covering the curved part (35).
Chair
Chair (10, 100) with a seat section (14, 104), an underframe (12, 102) which supports seat section (14), and a seat back (16, 106), in which the seat back (16, 106) is mounted on underframe (12, 102) such that it may be pivoted around a rear transverse axis (26, 120) oriented crosswise to chair (10, 100), and seat section (14, 104) is at least partially deformable and is supported or reinforced by at least one stiff supporting element (28, 122) extending from the bottom end of seat back (16, 106) in the direction of seat section (14, 104) and being rigidly connected with seat back (16, 106), such that when a pivoting movement of seat back (16, 106) occurs, a portion of seat section (14, 104) positioned in front of the end of supporting element (28, 122) is raised or lowered depending on the direction of pivoting.
Chair with positioning member
A chair in one aspect of the present invention comprises a leg body and a seat body. The leg body comprises a support frame that supports the seat body. The seat body comprises a frame body and a sheet-like member stretched across the frame body. The frame body has a positioning member provided on a back surface thereof that positions the seat body to be in a seatable state. An amount of protrusion of the positioning member is defined so that the positioning member contacts the frame body while a lowest part of the sheet-like member at the time the sheet-like member is deformed when a user sits down on the seat body is located above a top of the support frame.
FURNITURE COMPONENTS WITH EMBOSSED PROFILES
An article of furniture may include a component such as a frame, leg, or support. The component may be constructed from a strip of material and the strip of material may include a strip length, a strip width, and a strip thickness. The component may include a longitudinal welding joint that may be disposed between a first strip end or a first strip side and a second strip end or second strip side. A profile may be embossed into a surface of the strip of material and the component may be manufactured in a continuous inline roll forming process.
