An enclosure may be positioned underneath a chair seat to at least partially enclose the under-seat space and may open and close in conjunction with the expanding and collapsing of the chair. In one aspect, the under-seat enclosure is usable with side-to-side folding chairs (e.g., director-style folding chairs), with or without a footrest. Among other things, the under-seat enclosure may include accessory pockets and panels. In addition, the under-seat enclosure may optionally include dividers that sub-divide an interior compartment into multiple compartments.

A step stool is provided in various embodiments. A step stool in an embodiment includes a first top panel rotatably connected to a second top panel. It includes a front panel rotatably connected to the first top panel and a rear panel rotatably connected to the second top panel. It further includes a first side panel rotatably connected to the front panel and a second side panel rotatably connected to the first side panel and rotatably connected to the rear panel. It also includes a third side panel rotatably connected to the front panel and a fourth side panel rotatably connected to the third side panel and rotatably connected to the rear panel. It further includes a center support member having a first center panel rotatably connected to an underside of the first top panel, a second center panel rotatably connected to an underside of the second top panel and rotatably connected to the first center panel. It may also include a formation in which the first top panel includes a handle and the second top panel includes a recess in which the handle of the first top panel fits.

A foldable glider chair has a base and gliding seat frame pivotally connected to the base to allow relative movement of the gliding seat frame relative to the base in a reciprocating fashion in a direction parallel to the width edges of the seat. The base and gliding seat frame are foldable in tandem.

The collapsible travel stool is a stool with an inclined top that may be used as a footrest. The top surface, the left side wall, and the right side wall may be hinged so that the collapsible travel stool collapses flat for storage and transport. The top surface may be an inclined plane adapted for a user to place their feet upon when the collapsible travel stool is open and in front of a seat. As a non-limiting example, the collapsible travel stool may be used on a commercial aircraft to improve comfort during long trips.

The invention relates generally to a lightweight, collapsible, and portable wheeled seat, e.g., a wheeled office chair or stool, for travel, storage, and mobility. The seat includes a seat base member and a seat surface member collapsible between an open, extended position, which is configured to provide a seating surface, and a collapsed, closed position. The seat surface member includes a central seating surface member fixed to the seat base member that has an outer perimeter, and a pair of oppositely disposed and generally u-shaped seating surface members pivotally secured to the seat base member. Each of the generally u-shaped seating surface members include a pair of leg portions that extend from a base portion thereof, or an inward directed perimeter and a portion of each inward directed perimeter has a shape that substantially complementarily corresponds to a shape of a portion of the outer perimeter of the central seating surface member.

Disclosed are a collapsible supporting frame and furniture having a collapsible supporting frame. A frame includes first and second supporting units, and first and second bar units disposed between the first and second supporting units. Each of the first and second supporting units includes a first leg, a second leg, and one or more lateral connecting bars disposed between and fixedly connected with the first and second legs. Each of the first and second bar units includes first and second bars rotatably connected with each other at their proximal ends. A distal end of the first bar is rotatably connected with the first or second leg of the first supporting unit. A distal end of the second bar is rotatably connected with the first or second leg of the second supporting unit.

A collapsible step stool includes step-shaped side panels and folding tread panels. Each folding tread panel is pivot connected to respective top edges of the step-shaped side panels to define a step when unfolded. Each folding tread panel includes a hinge to enable it to fold. A support post is connected to the hinges of adjacent folding tread panels. The support post rests on a surface and supports the upper one of the folding tread panels when the step stool is unfolded. The support post synchronizes the folding of the tread panels when collapsing the step stool.

A lightweight, collapsible, and portable wheeled seat, e.g., a wheeled office chair or stool, for travel, storage, and mobility, is disclosed.
