A foldable chair, comprises a foldable chair frame (10) and a chair seat (1) made of a flexible material; the chair frame (10) comprising an X-shaped left support frame (101), an X-shaped right support frame (102) connected through a connecting crossbar (3), the chair seat (1) is connected to the chair frame (10) through a plurality of connecting pieces; a detachable pole (2) extends from top to bottom of the chair frame (10), and the connecting crossbar (3) has two first through holes (34) for the poles (2) to pass through; correspondingly, the connecting crossbar (3) has two second through holes (33) for a plurality of support tubes (100) to pass through; each pole (2) and the corresponding support tube (100) forms the X-shaped left or right support frame. This chair has the advantages of simple and reasonable structure, easy installation and disassembly, simple manufacture process and low cost, and is especially suitable for carrying around when traveling.

Various embodiments of the present disclosure relate to folding furniture, and more specifically, to folding chairs with the ability to support their own weight and stand while in a folded position. In an embodiment, a folding chair configurable in an unfolded position and a folded position comprises a first leg assembly, a second leg assembly, a seat, and a chair back fixed between the first and second leg assemblies. The first and second leg assemblies each comprise an outer leg pivotally coupled with an inner leg, such that in the folded or unfolded positions, the first and second leg assemblies support the folding chair. The seat comprises a support bar and is pivotally coupled with each inner leg of the first and second leg assemblies, such that in the unfolded position, the seat provides support for a person when the support bar contacts a portion of the first outer leg and a portion of the second outer leg preventing overextension of the seat. In the folded position, the seat lies perpendicularly with the ground and provides a counterweight to allow the folding chair to stand on the first leg assembly and second leg assembly.

A cup holding device for a foldable seat includes a connecting part and a cup holder. The connecting part is provided on an armrest frame or a front leg frame of a foldable seat, and is located below a seat portion of the foldable seat. The cup holder is mounted on the connecting part, and has a receiving cavity adapted to receive the placement of a container. By placing the connecting part and the cup holder below the seat portion of the foldable seat, the present invention can make use of the space at the bottom of the foldable seat and prevent a drinking container from being accidentally hit by a person's swinging arm causing its tipping over.
