Rolling-and-swinging device and massage chair containing the same
The present invention discloses a rolling-and-swinging device and a massage chair. The rolling-and-swinging device comprises a gear motor, a motor mounting plate, a torque output board, a swing arm, a swing arm synchronizer ring, a damping ring, an optical shutter rotating ring, a swinging monitoring controller, a microcomputer controller, a shaft supporting plate, a frame and curved legs. The massage chair is for commercial sale, wherein the massage chair is equipped with aforementioned rolling-and-swinging device and two curved legs in contact with the ground, and the operation of the rolling and swinging motion of the massage chair is automatic. This invention is characterized by having a simple structure, and being able to operate reliably, low in energy consumption, quiet, and widely applicable.
Split ottoman linkage accomodating a chaise pad
A split ottoman linkage having a plurality of interconnected links that move a middle ottoman and a front ottoman from a closed position to an extended position. The middle ottoman moves in a relatively constant radial arc, such that a chaise pad can be used on the chair. The middle ottoman and the front ottoman are positioned adjacent one another in the closed position, and are spaced from one another in the extended position.
Rotating and non-rotating reclining chairs w/tilting mechanisms
A reclining and declining chair, preferably one that rotates with respect to its base, having a chair seat frame or plate and having a vertical or generally vertical member that extends beneath to support is reclined and declined by tilting at least an upper portion of the vertical or generally vertical support. Optionally the chair can also have a reclining backrest and a leg/foot rest that can be raised and lowered. The tilting, reclining, declining and raising and lowering motions are accomplished by drive mechanisms that can be manually powered, electrically powered, fluid driven, etc. with operator controls allowing increased range and ease of reclining, declining plus other desirable advantages with these types of chairs.
Chair footrest ring positioning structure
A chair footrest ring positioning structure includes a guide region tilting downward and concavely disposed on an outer surface of any one side of the lower segment of the tightening case, one or more anti-slip pads fixed inside an internal space of the tightening case, one or more grooves concavely disposed at a periphery of the tightening case, to facilitate insertion of a middle pipe of the chair, and a sleeve corresponding in shape to the middle of the footrest ring fitted around the tightening case. One or more bumps extending from an inner side of the sleeve are inserted into the grooves of the tightening case, respectively. When the middle pipe is rotated to move the tightening case by a predetermined distance, the guide region undergoes a displacement to drive insertion of the bumps, thereby pushing the tightening case inward.
SEATING/RECLINING-FURNITURE
The invention relates to seating/reclining furniture, in particular to an armchair or chair, having a back part, a seat part and an adjustable footrest arrangement that is pivotable between an inwardly folded base position beneath a seating surface and an outwardly folded position of use relative to the seat part, wherein the footrest arrangement comprises a frame that is a component of the seat part or is attached to the seat part and a footrest pivotable relative to the frame, and wherein the footrest has a base part and an extension that is movable relative to the base part between the base position and the position of use, such that the footrest is shorter in an intermediate position than in the position of use and in the base position.
RECLINING ARMCHAIR WITH LIFTING SEAT AND EXTENDING FOOTREST
An armchair comprising a seat chassis supported on a support chassis by a pair of support columns, a chair back structure pivotally attached to a rear end of the seat chassis and to the support chassis, and a leg support structure pivotally attached to a front end of the seat chassis and connected to a beam, wherein the beam is attached the chair back structure. A first actuating device is mounted to the chair back, where a protracting end of the first actuating device is connected to the seat chassis. The armchair further comprises a second actuating device mounted to the support chassis, a footrest connected to a protracting end of the second actuating device, a third actuating device attached to the seat chassis, and a seating structure connected to a protracting end of the third actuating device and mounted above the seat chassis, wherein the seating structure includes an operative position projecting upwards and forwards by the third actuating device at a tilting angle from the seat chassis.
QUICK-EXIT ASSEMBLY FOR RECLINING FURNITURE
A quick-exit assembly for reclining furniture, including motorized versions, is provided. An exemplary quick-exit assembly may include a linkage assembly configured to move between a first position and a second position. A drive mechanism may be coupled to the linkage assembly, and may be configured to move the linkage assembly between the first position and the second position using an actuator, and also, allow movement of the linkage assembly between the first position and the second position using manual force with reduced restriction from the drive mechanism.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CONTROLLING POWER MOTION FURNITURE
The present invention relates to power motion furniture, power motion furniture systems and methods of using the same. In particular, the present invention provides systems and methods for controlling power motion furniture positioning comprising a physical alert (e.g., to indicate furniture component positioning).
Portable Beach Chair
A portable beach chair for cooling a person while relaxing or basking in a warm environment is provided. The portable beach chair comprises a chair having a body support portion and a back support portion with the back support portion hingedly connected to the body support portion and releasably securable in a desired angular position. A water reservoir secured to the back support portion holds a predetermined amount of water. A showerhead is fluidly connected to the water reservoir with the showerhead positioned above the back support portion and directing a water flow from the water reservoir in a general direction toward both the body support portion and the back support portion. Upon introducing water through the showerhead from the water reservoir, the water flow through the showerhead cools the person thereby eliminating any need for the person to access a hose or go into a waterbody to cool off.
