The radial blower is arranged on an edge side of the air-distributing knitted spacer fabric such that at least one of a blowing of air into the air-distributing knitted spacer fabric and an extraction of air from the air-distributing knitted spacer fabric is providable via the radial blower essentially parallel to a surface plane of the air-distributing knitted spacer fabric.

In addition, the linear actuator may be controlled by the electrically control device to adjust the inclined angle of the backrest so as to provide a comfortable sensation to the user. A remotely controlled powered chair may include a base assembly. A chair frame is supported on the base assembly. An actuator mechanism may communicate with the base assembly and the chair frame, and is operable to actuate the chair frame between first and second positions.

In operation, the controller activates the air mover to flow air, such as unconditioned air, through the conduit network to be released through the dress cover in the at least one target region.
