Reversible seat assembly
A reversible seat assembly for use with an airplane. The reversible seat comprises a base assembly and a vertical assembly. The base assembly and the vertical assembly are connected to a support structure and are collectively disposable into and out of a first travel position, a second travel position, and a third travel position. In the first and second travel positions a user or passenger may assume a usual sitting position. In the third travel position the user may assume a reverse sitting position. The base assembly comprises a right segment and a left segment connected and rotationally movable to a central segment. The vertical assembly comprises a lower segment and an upper segment connected to and rotationally movable a middle segment. The reversible seat assembly may further comprise a back armrest connected to an opposite side of said middle segment and structure to provide support to the arms of the user.
Adjustable Bench
An adjustable bench comprises a seat, a skirt extending from the seat, and a plurality of height adjustable leg assemblies coupled to the skirt. The seat is shaped to be selectively mated with the skirt to provide the bench with either a flat top or a sloped top surface.
Foldable massage chair with triangular support configuration
A foldable massage chair, including a face pillow assembly for supporting the head, a chest pillow assembly for supporting the chest, a handrail assembly for supporting wrists, a front support piece, a seat cushion assembly, a back support rod, a kneeboard assembly, a back supporting frame, and a front supporting frame. When a user needs to use this chair, it is placed in an expanded or use position, so the user may sit on the seat cushion and lean on the massage chair, completely exposing his back, waist, and hips for a masseur to massage. When the chair needs to be put away, it is possible to fold down the chair into a collapsed position by folding the seat cushion assembly, front support piece, chest pillow assembly, and handrail assembly. Also, the front supporting frame is folded towards the back supporting frame. Consequently, the size of the entire chair decreases.
TILTING SEAT WITH LOWERED JOINT
A tilting seat for operators in a controlled environment, particularly for surgeons and the like, comprising a saddle, a chest support, a forehead support and a leg support connected to a base standing on the ground, such that the saddle, the chest support, the forehead support and the leg support are integrally movable with rotation about a horizontal-axis joint placed below the saddle, keeping the space over the joint free from movable elements while in use, guaranteeing the substantial lack of contamination in such space.
ERGONOMIC CHAIR
An ergonomic chair (300) comprising a seat (310), a lower leg support (320), a chest support (330), and a hip support (360); the seat (310) for supporting the posterior thigh (11) and/or buttocks (12) of a seated user (10), the seat (310) being configured to urge the hip of a seated user (10) in a forward direction; the lower leg support (320) for supporting the anterior side of the lower legs (14) of the seated user (10); the chest support (330) for supporting the chest (15) of the seated user (10) in a forward leaning position of the seated user (10); the hip support (360) is configured to support the anterior hip of a seated user (10) as the seat (310) urges the seated user's (10) hip forwardly towards the hip support (360).
Adjustable Breast Pump Flange
An adjustable breast pumping flange is provided. The breast pumping flange allows for adjustment of the flange angle relative to a bottle to which the flange connects. This allows for a nursing mother to more comfortably position the flanges and bottles during a pumping session. This increased comfort in turn allows for improved and more efficient milk collection.
Adjustable ergonomic chair
An office-type chair includes a base, a height-adjustable pedestal extending upward from the base, a seat assembly including a rear seat part and a front seat part, and a linkage system connecting the pedestal to the seat assembly. The linkage system is adapted to pivot the seat assembly between a lowered position to serve as a task chair and an elevated position to serve as an elevated sitting support. A backrest arrangement may extend from the seat assembly. In the lowered position, the front and rear seat parts are both generally horizontally oriented. In the elevated position, the rear seat part may have a slight forward tilt and be positioned higher than in the lowered position, and the front seat part may extend at a downward angle relative to the rear seat part.
Lightweight adjustable folding ergonomic sit/stand chair with optional methods of construction and integration with ancillary accessories
A novel lightweight, high stability ergonomic chair, enabling sitting, and leaning in a perched intermediary position between sitting and standing. An inclined saddle type seat is supported by three legs. A forward chair leg is located between the feet of, and beneath the center of gravity of the seated person. Two chair legs extend rearward. The chair permits rocking backwards, diagonally forward, and rocking about the forward chair leg. This “active seating” provides for easy transitions between sitting and standing, shifting of weight, and conveys an open positive body language. Multiple embodiments and architectures are disclosed multiple configurations including; rigid, folding, and for quick disassembly. The chairs may be constructed of various rigid and flexible materials, with optional features including; armrests, footrests, caster wheels, cushioning, and a standing desk type work surface. The chair eliminates the need for connection to a base platform beneath the user's feet.
Apparatus for Supporting a Person in a Prone Position Comprising a Movable Platform
Apparatus for supporting a person in a prone position comprises a support stand and a platform movably mounted to the support stand by a linkage, in which the platform is movable on the linkage between a first position and a second position, in which the platform comprises an upper portion in a first plane and a lower portion comprising a concavity relative to the first plane.
Sitting furniture
Sitting furniture (100) comprising a seat (110), a lower leg support (120) and a chest support (130). The invention is characterised in that the seat (110) is arranged to support the posterior thigh (11) and/or buttocks (12) of a seated user (10) such that the femur bone (13) of the seated user (10) is downwards inclined in the anterior direction at an angle of at least 40° downwards in relation to the horizontal, in that the lower leg support (120) is arranged to support the anterior side of the lower legs (14) of the seated user (10), and in that the chest support (130) is arranged to support the chest (15) of the seated user (10) in a forward leaning position of the seated user (10) such that the third lumbar vertebrae body (16) of the seated user (10) is arranged in a support plane (150), which support plane (150) is perpendicular to the sagittal plane of the user and in which support plane (150) the respective pivot point (17) of the seated user's (10) hip joints and the respective pivot point (18) of the seated user's (10) shoulder joints are also arranged when the posture of the seated user (10) is symmetric about the seated user's (10) sagittal plane.
