Refrigerated display cabinet utilizing a radial cross flow fan
A refrigerated display case includes a housing surrounding multiple shelves. An air distribution gap is defined behind the shelves. An air return passage is defined below the shelves. A radial cross-flow fan is disposed in a fan region of the air return passage. The radial cross-flow fan includes an output connected to the air distribution gap. A primary cooling microchannel heat exchanger is disposed in the fan region downstream of the radial cross-flow fan such that air output from the radial cross-flow fan to the air distribution gap passes through the primary cooling microchannel heat exchanger. A pre-cooler microchannel heat exchanger is disposed upstream of the primary cooling microchannel heat exchanger.
HYBRID SHELF WITH EMBEDDED THERMAL SPREADER
A refrigerated merchandiser including a case defining a product display area and including an air inlet and an air outlet in communication with the product display area to form an air curtain across a front of the product display area. The refrigerated merchandiser also includes a shelf that is coupled to the case within the product display area. The shelf includes insulation between a top and a bottom of the shelf, and a passive heat exchanger that has a heat pipe embedded in the shelf within the insulation and that extends from a front of the shelf to a back of the shelf. Ambient air infiltrating the air curtain initiates passive heat transfer within the plurality of heat tubes.
Sneeze guard air curtain attachment
Provided is a sneeze guard attachment for creating an air curtain between display food covered by a sneeze guard and a person. The device includes a panel, a frame affixed to the panel that creates a chamber between the panel and the sneeze guard, and a means for forcing air into the chamber. The chamber includes an open end, which allows the air to be forced out of the chamber in order to create an air curtain. The air curtain separates the display food contained in a food bar/food prep area from the consumer. The device can be retrofitted on any preexisting food shield or sneeze guard, and can be utilized with various types of display food, including food items found in buffets, salad bars, hot food bars, roller grills, made-to-order food operations, catering stands, roller grills, sandwich preparation areas, and the like.
Glass door with a handle assembly
A glass door for a refrigerating unit and to such refrigerating unit, wherein the glass door includes a glass pane, a handle assembly including a transparent base part bonded at an adhesion surface to an outer glass surface of the glass pane, and a handle part made in a transparent material, preferably Polymethylmethacrylat (PMMA). The handle assembly further includes a mounting connection for mounting the handle part to the base part, wherein the mounting connection is provided by the one or more protrusions of the handle part and by one or more recess(es) in the base part or one or more recess(es) provided between the base part and the outer glass surface.
REFRIGERATOR AND TRANSPARENT PANEL ASSEMBLY FOR REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator includes a transparent panel assembly. The transparent panel assembly includes a front panel defining at least a part of a front appearance of a refrigerator door and made of a glass material, a rear panel defining at least a part of a rear appearance of the refrigerator door and made of a transparent material, and an intermediate member connected between the front panel and the rear panel and made of a transparent plastic member. The intermediate member includes an edge portion having both ends connected to a screening area formed at peripheries of the front panel and the rear panel, and a partition portion formed to cross an inner surface of the edge portion to partition a gap between the front panel and the rear panel to thereby form a sealed insulation layer.
DOOR FOR MOUNTING A REMOVABLE ELECTRONIC DISPLAY
In one general aspect, the subject matter described in this specification can be embodied in a display case door that includes an insulated panel assembly that is transparent to visible light. The door further includes a door frame extending about and secured to a peripheral edge of the insulated panel assembly, an electronic display overlaying the insulated panel assembly, and at least one lift-off hinge including a first hinge component attached to a longitudinal side of the door frame, and a second hinge component coupled to the electronic display.
Door for home appliance, home appliance, and method for manufacturing the same
A door for a home appliance, a home appliance, and a method for manufacturing the same, are disclosed. The door for a home appliance comprises a panel assembly; and a frame assembly defining a predetermined space having an opening connected with an edge of the panel assembly, and making a foaming space for receiving a thermal insulator by means of the predetermined space of the frame assembly and the edge of the panel assembly, wherein a foaming injection hole through which the thermal insulator is injected is provided on at least one of ends of an upper surface, a lower surface, a left side and a right side of the frame assembly.
LED LIGHTING ARRAY SYSTEM FOR ILLUMINATING A DISPLAY CASE
An LED lighting array system includes discrete lighting modules spatially arrayed along a support member to provide illumination of items within a display case. The modules have a low overall height that results in them being mounted in a low-profile configuration at various locations along the support member. The modules include a housing with opposed first and second sets of side apertures, a plurality of internal reflecting surfaces associated with the apertures, respectively, an external lens, a multi-sided light engine and a group of side-emitting LEDs. During operation, a first portion of light generated by the side-emitting LEDs is discharged through apertures and the lens into the cooler to illuminate contents therein, while a second portion of light generated by the side-emitting LEDs is redirected by the reflecting surface through said apertures and the lens into the cooler.
