The merchandise security hook is designed reasonable and easy to use.
System for Inventory Management
Sensor-equipped display management systems and methods that may be used to calculate a number of products removed from a display management system based upon motion of one or more mechanisms within the display management system. Additionally, the systems and methods may be used to detect patterns from the sensor data, which may be indicative of attempted theft of products stored within the display management system.
MERCHANDISE DISPLAY HOOK INCLUDING ANTI-SWEEP MECHANISM
A merchandise display hook and method for dispensing one or more items of merchandise from a merchandise display hook and/or for loading one or more items of merchandise onto the display hook are provided. The display hook may include at least one rod configured to be mounted to a display fixture and to receive one or more items of merchandise thereon. The display hook may also include a helix disposed about the rod and extending at least partially along a length of the rod. The helix is configured to rotate in a dispensing direction for dispensing the one or more items of merchandise from the rod and/or an opposite loading direction for loading the one or more items of merchandise onto the rod.
GOODS HOLDER HAVING TWO SIGNAL-PRODUCING MEANS
A goods holder, on which a plurality of goods can be arranged one behind the other in a movable manner, in such a way that a front good of a row of goods arranged one behind the other can be moved in the direction of a front end of the goods holder and can be removed from the goods holder at said front end. The goods holder having at least one displaceably supported signal-producing means, which can be displaced as a result of a movement of a frontmost good in the direction of the front end and triggers the production of a removal signal in the event of a displacement in order to indicate a removal of the good from the good holder. Two displaceably supported signal-producing means are provided on the goods holder.
Electromechanical Pusher Assembly
A product dispenser defines a product dispensing path and includes a housing, a pusher, a driver, and a controller. The housing extends along the product dispensing path. The pusher is configured to translate along the product dispensing path. The driver is operably coupled to the pusher and configured to urge the pusher along the product dispensing path. The controller is in communication with the driver and operable to activate the driver to urge the pusher along the product dispensing path after a threshold period of time.
Actuator with Time Delay
A product-dispensing device includes a housing, an actuator, and a time delay mechanism. The actuator is supported by the housing for rotation about a first axis. The time delay mechanism is operably coupled to the actuator and includes a first gear, a second gear, a damper, and a biasing member. The first gear is fixed for rotation with the actuator. The second gear is supported by the housing for rotation about a second axis and configured to engage the first gear. The first gear is operable to rotate the second gear in a first direction about the second axis. The biasing member is operable to rotate the second gear in a second direction about the second axis. The damper is operable to control a rate of rotation of the second gear in the second direction about the second axis. The second direction is opposite the first direction.
Security system for portable consumer article
In combination: a) a portable consumer article having a U-shaped portion; and b) a security system having: a frame; and a closure assembly movable to change the security system between a loading state and a secured state. The frame, closure assembly, and portable consumer article are configured so that: i) with the security system in the loading state the U-shaped portion can be displayed to straddle a part of the frame; and ii) with the portable consumer article displayed the security system can be changed from the loading state into the secured state wherein the article is prevented from being separated from the security system.
ANTI-THEFT MERCHANDISE HOOK
An anti-theft merchandise hook that includes a top wire connected to a housing portion at one end of the top wire, and to a mounting portion, used to mount the anti-theft merchandise hook to a stationary surface, at another end of the top wire opposite the one end. A bottom wire is attached to the mounting portion and extends from the mounting portion toward the housing portion. The bottom wire is configured to hold retail merchandise. A moveable hanger is at least partially disposed within the housing portion. The hanger is configured to move linearly between a closed position in which the hanger abuts the bottom wire, and an open position in which the hanger is spaced some distance from the bottom wire.
Anti-theft retail merchandise pusher with remote alarm feature
A retail merchandise pusher with a remote alarm feature is provided. The pusher includes a housing and an adaptor. The adaptor is removably coupled to the housing and slidably coupled to a track. The pusher including a shaft rotatable about its axis in a first and second direction and a gear wheel coupled to the shaft. The rotation of the gear wheel causing a first electrical contact to engage with a second electrical contact, such that the distance that the pusher moves along the track can be measured by totaling the number of times the first electrical contact engages with the second electrical contact.
SECURITY SYSTEM FOR PORTABLE CONSUMER ARTICLE
A security system having: a frame with first and second support assemblies respectively having first and second cantilevered arms, each with a free end; and a blocking assembly. The first free end can be directed into a U-shaped portion on a first portable consumer article to allow the U-shaped portion to straddle the first cantilevered arm. The second free end can be directed into a U-shaped portion on a second portable consumer article to allow the U-shaped portion on the second article to straddle the second cantilevered arm. Changing the blocking assembly from the loading state into the securing state prevents the first and second articles, straddling respective arms, from being separated from the security system. Changing the blocking assembly from the securing state into the loading state allows either of the first and second displayed articles to be separated from the security system without separating the other.
