BAGGING STATION SUPPORT FRAME AND METHOD OF FORMING THE SAME
Disclosed herein is a bagging station support frame that includes a top assembly and a bottom assembly. The top assembly holds a bagging station. A bagging station holds a plurality of shopping bags ready to receive products. The top assembly includes a back structure that couples to the bagging station, and a rail coupler. The rail coupler couples the top assembly to a first rail. The bottom assembly is coupled to the top assembly, and includes a first and a second foot. The first and the second foot couple to a second rail. The bagging station support frame can be coupled to rails anywhere in a retail store. A bagging station coupled to the bagging station support frame will be available for customers to bag their purchases wherever the bagging station support frame with bagging station is mounted.
System and method for bag delivery
Delivering bags, for example, for delivering items and products purchased bye-commerce in so-called “grocery” tote bags to the respective purchasing customers is described. In one embodiment, a system includes a box and a plurality of bag protectors, each made of material having sufficient rigidity to protect a bag contained therein. In one embodiment, the bag protector has a bottom panel configured to support a bottom of the bag, and two side panels that are configured to extend from two opposing edges of the boom panel away from the bottom panel to form a generally tapering profile so as to meet each other adjacent an opening portion of the bag. The box is configured to receive a plurality of bag protectors, each protectively containing a bag therein. For example, given the generally tapering profile of the bag protectors, they may be placed alternately facing opposite directions in the box.
BAG DISPENSER FOR FACILITATING BAG OPENING
In some embodiments, methods and systems are provided that facilitate the opening of a mouth of a plastic bag when removing the plastic bag from a plastic product bag dispenser. The plastic product bag dispenser includes a frame including a spindle configured to hold and permit dispensing of a roll of plastic produce bags, a bag separator coupled to the frame configured to permit separation of a leading plastic produce bag from an adjacent plastic produce bag along the line of weakness, and a bag opening facilitator including a frictional element having a higher coefficient of friction relative to surfaces of the front and rear sidewalls of the plastic produce bag than portions of the bag separator adjacent the bag opening facilitator. The frictional element of the bag opening facilitator is configured to retain in place a portion of the rear sidewall proximate the openable mouth while permitting a portion of the front sidewall proximate the openable mouth to move relative to the retained in place portion of the rear sidewall to open the mouth of the plastic produce bag.
GROCERY BAG LOADING RACK AND METHOD OF USING SAME
The invention is a grocery bag loading rack and method of using same. Embodiments of the invention are useful for supporting most any type of grocery bag in the open position so that a user can fill the grocery bag, two-handed. Embodiments of the grocery bag loading rack may be used to load plastic gusseted t-shirt, paper, or reusable cloth or fabric grocery bags.
In-store reconfigurable self-checkout bagging apparatus and related structures
A self-checkout system can include a re-configurable self-checkout bagging station that further includes a bagging station module that can be configured to mate with a stand-alone bagging station module, where the stand-alone bagging station module configured to couple to first and second interfaces of a self-checkout system terminal, respectively. A wedge shaped bagging station extension module surface can be configured to couple to the bagging station module in a left-oriented oblique self-checkout system configuration in a first position of the wedge shaped bagging station extension module surface and can be re-configurable from the first position to a second position of the wedge shaped bagging station extension module surface to couple to the bagging station module in a right-oriented oblique self-checkout system configuration.
RETAINING COLLAPSIBLE TOTES
Aspects described herein include an apparatus is disclosed for retaining a collapsible tote. The apparatus comprises a base, a projecting member having a first end attached to the base, and an engagement member attached to the projecting member at a second end opposite the first end. The engagement member defines one or more slots extending into the engagement member from a top surface. At each slot of the one or more slots, portions of the engagement member that define the slot are configured to, responsive to receiving a respective portion of a handle of the collapsible tote into the slot, apply a force to retain the respective portion of the handle.
BAG AND SYSTEM FOR USE THEREOF
A sustainable and lightweight bag having a unique weaving pattern. A system utilizing the bag having multiple systems to provide a sustainable alternative to single use plastic bags.
Configurable universal bag holder
Examples provide a universal bag holder for storing multiple different types of bags on a single bag holder device. The bag holder includes a bag receptacle for holding folded paper bags or folded reusable bags, such as cloth bags. An access window in one side of the receptacle enables a user to retrieve items which may fall into the receptacle. The bag holder also includes a bag support rack having a set of bag support arms for supporting plastic bags or reusable bags on the arms. The loops on the plastic or reusable bags are placed over the bag support arms. A paper bag that has been unfolded can also be supported between the bag support arms.
