Flexible mat anchor and tether system and method
In some embodiments, a method includes providing a flexible mat; wrapping the flexible mat around a crossbar of an infant or toddler seat; affixing at least two of a plurality of suction cups; providing a tether configured to secure an object; and coupling the tether to an anchor block by disposing an anchor terminus through an aperture, forming a compression fit. The flexible mat may have a mat body characterized by a front side, back side and thickness; and a plurality of anchors. Each anchor may include an anchor block having an aperture configured to receive a tether, and a suction cup. Each anchor may be disposed through the thickness, such that its anchor block is on the front side and its suction cup extends from the back side. The back side may be adjacent a surface of the crossbar. The method may include securing an object to the tether.
Tether
In some embodiments, an elongated tether may comprise an anchor end, a retention end, and a stretchable elastic section configured to allow stretching along a length of an elongated tether. The retention end may comprise a plurality of retention apertures each characterized by a retention-aperture diameter, and a retention terminus characterized by a retention diameter that is greater than the retention-aperture diameter. The retention end may be configured to enable the retention terminus to be compressed and manipulated through a first or second retention aperture to form a compression fit and a loop of a first size and a loop of a second, larger size. The stretchable elastic section may be configured such that an overall length of the elongated tether does not exceed a maximum length when subjected to a given amount of stretching force.
Placemat anchor and tether system
In some embodiments, a system comprises a mat body characterized by a front side, a back side and a thickness; a plurality of anchors, each anchor comprising an anchor block having an aperture characterized by an aperture diameter, a suction cup having a sealing surface and an outer surface, and a stem that is coaxial with the suction cup and connects the suction cup to the anchor block. Each anchor may be disposed through the thickness, such that its anchor block is on the front side and its suction cup extends from the back side. The system may further comprise an elongated tether that is removably coupleable to one of the plurality of anchors, and the elongated tether may comprise an anchor end having a generally spherical anchor terminus characterized by an anchor diameter that is greater than the aperture diameter.
Customizable drink coaster with modular magnetic closure for display item interchangeability
The present invention relates to a novel magnetic assembly often, but not exclusively, used as a drink coaster. More particularly, the invention relates to a modular, magnetically closing assembly wherein the operator can insert, interchange and display various items such as, but not limited to, photos, documents, art, and flowers.
ELECTRONIC TABLE MAT
An ordering system (1101) comprises a plurality of electronic table mats (101) and a user terminal (1102) comprising a wireless communication device (1108) for communicating with a wireless communication network (1106). Each electronic table mat (101) comprises a body (102) having first and second faces (103, 104) and supporting an electronic system (105) that comprises: a display device (301), a data processor (304) with access to data storage (305) and for controlling a visual output displayed by the display device (301), a wireless communication device (306) for communicating with a wireless communication network (1106), an input device (307), and a power device (310). Each electronic table mat (101) is configured for two-way communication with the user terminal (1102) via the wireless network (1106), with each electronic table mat (101) being associated with a unique identifier. A method (1201) of use of the ordering system (1101). An electronic table mat (101).
FOLDABLE PORTABLE DEVICE HOLDER
This document discloses a foldable device holder transitionable between a first flat position and a second folded position that forms a region sized and shaped to receive a device. The foldable device holder can include a body comprising a sheet material; a hinged cutout; a first hinge line defining a first edge of the hinged cutout; a second hinge line; and a third hinge line. When the body is folded along the hinge lines, the foldable device holder can be transitioned into the second position.
Method for occupying a toddler
A method for occupying a toddler may include providing a flexible mat; affixing the flexible mat to a vertical surface; providing an elongated tether; affixing the elongated tether to at least one of the vertical surface and the flexible mat; coupling an object to the elongated tether. In some embodiments, the elongated tether has an anchor end and a retention end. The retention end may have one or more retention apertures, each characterized by a retention-aperture diameter, and a retention terminus characterized by a retention diameter being greater than the retention-aperture diameter. Coupling an object to the elongated tether may include disposing the retention end around or through the object and disposing the retention terminus through one of the one or more retention apertures to form a compression fit.
GENERATING INSIGHTS BASED ON SIGNALS FROM MEASURING DEVICE
A system is described that generates insights on the consumption or usage behavior of a product by analyzing the real-time usage of the product by one or more users. The product is placed on the measuring device for continuous monitoring of the usage of the product by those one or more users in real-time. The measuring device includes a sensor unit that generates weigh data, motion data, location data, and time consumed data of the product and transmits to a computing device. A communication device records the consumption or usage of the product by a user, along with feedback from the user. The computing device generates insights based on the sensed data generated by the measuring device, and recording and feedback at the communication device. The computing device generates reports—one for the user, and one for a merchant of the product and/or similar products—including respective insights.
