The present disclosure discloses an automated floor cleaning apparatus, has an automatic cleaning robot and a washing base; the rear end of the robot body of the automatic cleaning robot is provided with a mop mechanism, the mop mechanism comprises a rotation component rotatably connected to the robot body and a crawler-type wiping cloth sleeving outside and rotating along with the rotation component. The invention provides can automatically and effectively removes dirt attached to the crawler-type wiping cloth, avoiding artificial detaching and then cleaning the wiping cloth stained with dirt, automatically performing washing operation, greatly alleviating operation burden of a user, and having a good floor sweeping effect.

Apparatus and method for receiving and holding debris in a collection chamber of a vacuum cleaner. The collection chamber has an inlet opening through which debris-entrained air enters the collection chamber. When the vacuum cleaner is off, an internal valve prevents debris from leaving the collection chamber through the inlet opening. The internal valve is movable from a first sealed position, in which the internal valve covers the chamber inlet opening, to a second unsealed position in which the internal valve does not cover the chamber inlet opening.

A floor cleaning machine having a base, a suction foot, a dirty water tank in fluid communication with the suction foot, a suction turbine, and a separation container. The suction turbine is attached to the base and generates a suction air flow from the suction foot into the dirty water tank. The suction turbine has a housing with an inlet opening and an outlet opening through which air flows. The separation container adjoins the suction turbine housing and has an interior, which that communicates with the inlet opening and a bottom wall section that faces the interior. The bottom wall section is disposed vertically lower than the inlet opening. A drainage opening leads out of the bottom wall section into the environment and is provided with a valve that is closed during operation of the suction turbine is in operation and open when the suction turbine is not operated.

A cleaning implement including a foot, a motor, and an eccentric mass. The foot has a foot plate and an oscillation plate movably coupled to the foot plate. The motor is coupled to at least one of the foot plate and the oscillation plate. The motor rotates about a motor axis extending at a non-perpendicular transverse angle relative to the surface. The eccentric mass is coupled to the motor to generate an oscillating force between the foot plate and the oscillation plate upon operation of the motor. The oscillating force has a planar component parallel to the oscillation plate and a perpendicular component perpendicular to the oscillation plate.

A surface treatment head (10) for a surface treatment tool, the surface treatment head (10) comprising: a movable surface treatment element (12) configured to engage a surface to be treated, and a driving means (14) comprising a motor (16) configured to drive the movable surface treatment element (12) to effect cleaning of said surface; wherein a rear edge (21) of the movable surface treatment element (12) with respect to a treatment direction (24) of the surface treatment head (10) comprises a first end, a second end and a middle portion located between the first and second ends, wherein the middle portion of the rear edge (21) projects rearwards of the first and second ends of the rear edge in the treatment direction (24).

Provided is a surface treatment tool including an elongate body. The elongate body includes a first end having a handle with a first handgrip portion and a second end distal the first end configured to be coupled a surface treatment head. The surface treatment tool also includes a fluid outlet configured to apply fluid to a surface to be treated, and a surface treatment head configured to engage a surface to be treated and comprising a suction region configured to suck fluid from a surface to be treated. The elongate body includes a fluid tank in fluid communication with the fluid outlet; a waste tank in fluid communication with the suction region and configured to collect fluid removed from a surface to be treated via the suction region; and a power source configured to supply power to the surface treatment tool.

An apparatus for cleaning a floor includes a housing, chassis, wheels, motor, steering mechanism, cleaning assembly, optionally a squeegee assembly, and at least one of a side sweeping system, front sweeping system, and pick-up system. The side sweeping system includes a turntable with central axis, a drive wheel disposed in coaxial relationship with the turntable, a sweeper motive device in communication with the drive wheel, a plurality of brushes distributed radially around the drive wheel and adapted to be driven by rotation of the drive wheel, and a pivoting connector configured to enable the side sweeping system to pivot laterally in response to contact with a wall while at least one of the brushes maintains contact with the floor adjacent the wall while the apparatus is in operation, and the brushes move debris disposed on the floor adjacent the wall toward the front of the apparatus.
