VACUUM CLEANER
The present invention relates to a vacuum cleaner, and more particularly to a vacuum cleaner including a case detachably provided at a cleaner body to accommodate dust and of which an upper surface and a lower surface are opened; a cyclone provided inside the case to separate the dust; an upper cover configured to shield the upper surface of the case and having a suction port through which the dust is suctioned and a discharge port through which air separated from the dust is discharged; an upper locker rotatably installed at an outer surface of the case and configured to selectively restrict the upper cover; a lower cover configured to shield the lower surface of the case; and a lower locker slidably installed at the outer surface of the case and configured to selectively push and open the lower cover.
CENTRAL VACUUM SYSTEM AND INLET VALVES THEREFOR
A central vacuum cleaning system includes an inlet valve mounted at various locations in a structure or RV and connected to the inlet end of a vacuum conduit. A section of hose is slidably mounted within the conduit and extends from the inlet valve for cleaning an adjacent area. A pair of seals within the inlet valve retains a nozzle handle mounted on the end of the hose in a stored position when the hose is in a retracted position and provides an air seal between the handle and vacuum supply conduit. A locking mechanism mounted on one embodiment of the inlet valves automatically locks the hose in a selected extended position when manually pulled from the inlet valve by a locking finger engaging an adjacent section of the hose. An electric switch on the inlet valve enables a user to actuate the vacuum supply source. A mounting bracket enables the inlet valve to be mounted at various locations in the structure and a pair of seals enables the inlet valve to be open to the ambient atmosphere.
Vacuum cleaner
A vacuum cleaner comprises a cleaner main body configured to generate suction power; a suction unit configured to suck up dust and foreign substances by the suction power; a connection pipe configured to transfer the sucked dust and foreign substances; a connection unit comprising a connection pipe accommodator configured to accommodate an end portion of the connection pipe, a separation controller configured to separate the accommodated end portion of the connection pipe from the connection pipe accommodator, and a space configured to place the separation controller therein; and a power cable configured to supply electric power from the cleaner main body to the suction unit, and disposed to pass through the space in which the separation controller of the connection unit is provided.
WAND AND HOSE ASSEMBLY FOR A VACUUM CLEANER
A wand and hose assembly for a vacuum cleaner includes a suction wand fluidly connected to the end of a suction hose by a duct and the duct incorporates an articulating joint for allowing articulated movement of the suction wand relative to the end of the suction hose. The wand and the duct are arranged for telescopic sliding movement relative to one another, and the articulating joint is moveable into a position in which the wand can slide telescopically through the duct for retraction into the suction hose.
SURFACE CLEANING APPARATUS
A surface cleaning apparatus comprises an air outlet having an associated electrical outlet for an accessory cleaning tool. The electrical outlet has at least electrical connector that is moveably mounted and biased to a de-energized position.
Vacuum tube locking collar
A central vacuum cleaning system includes a locking collar mounted at various locations in a structure or RV and connected to the inlet end of a vacuum conduit. A section of hose is slidably mounted within the conduit and extends therefrom for cleaning an adjacent area. A pair of O-rings within the collar frictionally retains a handle mounted on the end of the hose in a stored position when the hose is in a retracted position and provides an air seal between the handle and vacuum supply conduit. A locking mechanism mounted on the collar automatically locks the hose in a selected extended position when manually pulled from the collar by a locking finger engaging an adjacent section of the hose. An electric switch on the collar enables a user to actuate the vacuum supply source. A mounting bracket enables the collar to be mounted at various locations in the structure and a ring formed on the collar enables the collar to be rotated to a desired position on the mounting bracket.
SUCTION HEAD WITH IMPROVED SUCTION CHANNEL
A suction head for a vacuum cleaner comprising a base plate with a base plate channel open towards a surface to be vacuumed and a suction channel in fluid communication with the base plate channel is described. Said suction channel comprises an inner tube and an outer tube, wherein the inner tube is fixed to the base plate channel and the outer tube is rotatable telescopically with respect to the inner tube.
Cleaning Apparatus
A cleaning apparatus for use in explosive atmospheres is disclosed, the cleaning apparatus being configured to conduct to earth any electrostatic charges generated in the components of the apparatus thereby preventing electrostatic discharge. The apparatus comprises a flexible hose member comprised of an electrically conductive material and having first and second open ends, the hose member being suitable for attachment at its first end to a port of an associated suction unit to mechanically and electrically couple said hose thereto; and a substantially rigid tubular pole member comprised of an electrically conductive material and having first and second open ends, said pole member being mechanically and electrically coupled at said first end to the second end of said hose member.
COMPACT TELESCOPIC EXTENSION FOR AN ELECTRIC HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCE AND ASSOCIATED ELECTRIC HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCE
A telescopic extension, typically for an electric household appliance, is described, said telescopic extension comprising: an inner tube, an outer tube, wherein said inner tube and said outer tube are slidable telescopically relative to one another, wherein said inner tube comprises, on an outer surface thereof, a plurality of deformations of predetermined shape; a sleeve fitted inside said outer tube, at one of its ends; a constraining device configured to lock sliding of the inner tube with respect to the outer tube, when said constraining device is at least partially engaged in one of said deformations; a slider and elastic means, wherein said slider cooperates with said constraining device under the action of said elastic means; and an actuating device operatively connected to said slider, wherein said slider comprises a guiding device for providing a guided movement between said slider and said constraining device.
Adapter assembly and suction nozzle
An adaptor assembly and a suction nozzle which includes the adaptor assembly. The adaptor assembly works with the outlet port part of a suction nozzle to adapt the suction nozzle with the extension pipe of a vacuum cleaner in a sealed manner. The adapter assembly includes a tube body with a fitting end to fit the outlet port part and a flange end with a flange for inserting into the extension pipe. A moving and positioning unit is located between the fitting and flange ends, and includes a base part fixed on the tube body and a mobile part cooperating with the base part. An elastic seal ring sleeves around the flange end and includes one end butting against the flange and another end butting against the mobile part. The elastic seal ring arch outwardly and come into tight contact with internal surface of the extension pipe.
