The present disclosure relates to an image capturing device configured to capture an image of a target. The image capturing device includes a probe and a housing. The probe includes an optical component and is configured to receive light from the target. The housing includes electronic components each configured to process the light received from the probe. Moreover, the housing includes an air sending unit, and a controller configured to control driving of the air sending unit. The air sending unit is provided at a position above the electronic components in the housing when a user holds the housing during utilization of the image capturing device, and is configured to supply air to the optical component provided in the probe.

Provided is a cooling device of an endoscope device. The cooling device includes: a box; a first communicating hole that is a hole provided in the box; a second communicating hole that is a hole provided in the box; a second fan that is provided at the second communicating hole, the second fan being configured to guide gas to an exterior of the box through the second communicating hole to generate an airflow in the box, the gas having introduced into the box from the first communicating hole; and a duct configured to house a heat generator to be cooled, the duct being positioned in the box to allow the airflow to pass through an inside of the duct.

The present disclosure provides systems and methods for thermal management of an imaging device that is placed within a body of an individual during a medical procedure or a surgical procedure. In an aspect, the present disclosure provides an imaging device configured for use in a medical procedure or a surgical procedure while the imaging device is within a body of an individual undergoing the medical procedure or the surgical procedure. The imaging device may comprise a coating on at least a portion of an exterior of the imaging device, wherein the coating comprises a high thermal emissivity. The imaging device may comprise a set of thermal fins disposed on an exterior of the imaging device. The imaging device may comprise an endoscope.
