Percutaneous arterial to venous anastomosis clip application catheter system and methods
A method of creating an anastomosis includes steps of advancing a distal tip of a catheter device through a first blood vessel into a second blood vessel, while simultaneously advancing a proximal base of the device into the first vessel, contacting a wall of the first vessel with a distal blunt surface on the proximal base. A further step is to retract the distal tip so that a proximal blunt base of the distal tip contacts a wall of the second vessel, thereby capturing the two vessel walls between the blunt surfaces of the proximal base and the distal tip. A controlled pressure is applied between the two blunt surfaces to compress and stabilize the captured tissue and approximate the vessel walls. A clip is deployed through the captured tissue to hold the tissue in place during the anastomosis procedure. The anastomosis is created by applying cutting energy to the captured tissue.
Apparatus for irrigating the vas deferens
An apparatus for irrigating the vas deferens in connection with a vasectomy reversal is described. The apparatus comprises a fluid delivery device having a first portion that connects to the vas deferens, the fluid delivery device connecting such that a catheter tip inserts into the vas deferens and is held in stable position relative thereto and such that fluid enters the vas deferens through the catheter tip.
Securing ring for use with an end-to-end anastomosis stapling device
A surgical kit includes a stapling device and a securing ring. The stapling device includes a reload including a trocar member and an anvil assembly including an anvil and an anvil shaft detachably couplable to the trocar member of the reload for unitary movement. The securing ring is selectively securable about the anvil shaft. The securing ring has an annular profile defining an aperture. The securing ring includes first and second portions and an intermediate portion. The first and second portions adjustably overlap each other. The first portion includes a first tab. The second portion includes a hook. The intermediate portion includes a second tab and defines slots to receive the hook of the second portion. When the first and second tabs are displaced relative to each other, the aperture is transitionable from a first state having a first diameter to a second state having a second diameter.
VASCULAR ANASTOMOSIS DEVICE
A vascular anastomosis device includes a vascular jaw unit and a first vascular fastening component, wherein the vascular jaw unit is provided with a vascular anastomosis ring assembled on the first vascular fastening component. The first vascular fastening component includes a first tube provided with a first opening and a first guiding rail, a vascular positioning member connected with the first tube, a second tube arranged in the first tube, a vascular supporting unit assembled on the second tube and disposed near to the vascular positioning member, an advancing member arranged in the first tube, and a third tube arranged in the advancing member and provided with a cross rod and a guiding rod, wherein the vascular supporting unit includes a vascular supporting body and a vascular spreading member.
SPHERIC ENDO-LUMINAL TRACTION DEVICE FOR ESOPHAGEAL ELONGATION
Methods and apparatuses for applying tensile force to one or more tissue regions within a body. Illustratively, an implant ball including a spherical side wall is received within a tubular organ, and tensile sutures extend through the implant ball for applying a tensile force to facilitate elongation of the tubular organ.
SYSTEMS, DEVICES, AND METHODS FOR ENDOSCOPE OR LAPAROSCOPIC MAGNETIC NAVIGATION
The invention provides systems, devices, and methods for the delivery, deployment, and positioning of magnetic compression devices at a desired site so as to improve the accuracy of anastomoses creation between tissues, organs, or the like.
TISSUE REMOVAL SYSTEM
A tissue removal system is provided which enables optimally performing a full-thickness resection of a hollow organ while minimizing invasiveness. In this tissue removal system, a tissue pressing tool which has a tissue contacting part and which is guided into the abdominal cavity, and a resection and anastomosis device work together. The resection and anastomosis device resects and performs anastomosis of tissue positioned between a main body and an anvil part, and, when pressing the tissue to be cut to the cutting position of the resection and anastomosis device by means of the tissue contacting part, the tissue contacting part is pressed against two abutment parts of the resection and anastomosis device.
ENDOSCOPIC TRANSLUMINAL STENT ACCESS AND DELIVERY SYSTEM
Aspects of the present disclosure are directed toward apparatuses, systems, and methods for stent access and device delivery. In certain instances, the apparatuses, systems, and methods may include a plurality of struts arranged about the one or more cutting blades on a tip portion.
TISSUE PRESSING TOOL
A tissue pressing tool includes: a shaft that extends in one direction; a tissue pressing part that is a rod-like or belt-like member having a rigidity enough to hold a shape thereof even when pressed against a tissue; and a passive bending part that is arranged between the tissue pressing part and the shaft so that the tissue pressing part is capable of bending in all direction around an axis line of the shaft so as to keep an inverted state of the tissue by the tissue pressing part pressing the tissue linearly
ENDOSCOPIC TREATMENT TOOL
An endoscopic treatment tool includes: a needle tube in which a needle tube insertion passage extending from a distal end to a proximal end of the needle tube is formed; a stylet which is disposed to move freely in the needle tube insertion passage; a main manipulation part which is connected to a proximal end side of the needle tube, the main manipulation part supporting the stylet such that the stylet advances while rotating, and the main manipulation part operating the stylet; a manipulation transmission member which has flexibility and the manipulation transmission member is connected to the stylet; and an auxiliary manipulation part which includes a handle fixed to a proximal end portion of the manipulation transmission member and the auxiliary manipulation part is configured such that the manipulation transmission member advances while rotating in accordance with a manipulation of the handle.
