SURFACE AND SUBSURFACE TUMOR MAPPING FOR COMPUTER-GUIDED LASER SURGERY
Disclosed are systems and techniques for providing laser treatment. For example, a vasculature structure associated with a tissue region can be determined. Based on the vasculature structure, one or more laser parameters for configuring a laser to deliver laser energy to at least one blood vessel within the tissue region can be determined. Laser energy can be delivered to the at least one blood vessel to halt blood flow to a targeted area within the tissue region.

The device further includes a first energy storage device, a second energy storage device, and a first switching device to discharge energy from the first energy storage device to the first magnetic field generating to generate a first time-varying magnetic field to cause muscle contraction, and a second switching to discharge energy from the second energy storage device to the second magnetic field generating device to generate a second time-varying magnetic field. The first radiofrequency electrode may provide first radiofrequency waves causing heating of tissue within the first area of the body region.
IMAGE GUIDED LASER THERAPY
Systems, devices, and methods for treating a skin of a patient with therapeutic laser light via imaging a first skin area of the patient to obtain at least a first image, processing the at least a first image of the first skin area with at least one processor to identify within the first skin area at least one or more target skin areas and a non-target skin area, generating a treatment map of the first skin area based on the identified one or more target skin areas and the non-target skin area, and treating at least a portion of the one or more target skin areas with therapeutic laser light based on the generated treatment map.
FEEDBACK DETECTION FOR A TREATMENT DEVICE
A system includes a focus optic configured to converge an electromagnetic radiation (EMR) beam to a focal region located along an optical axis. The system also includes a detector configured to detect a signal radiation emanating from a predetermined location along the optical axis. The system additionally includes a controller configured to adjust a parameter of the EMR beam based in part on the signal radiation detected by the detector. The system also includes a window located a predetermined depth away from the focal region, between the focal region and the focus optic along the optical axis, wherein the window is configured to make contact with a surface of a tissue.
PREVENATIVE DENTAL HARD TISSUE LASER TREATMENT SYSTEMS AND METHODS
In one aspect, embodiments relate to a system for performing preventative dental laser treatment. The system includes, a code reader configured to read a machine readable code, a processor configured to verify the machine readable code and prevent future verification of the machine readable code, and a laser treatment system configured to perform a laser treatment, based upon the verified machine readable code. The laser treatment system includes a laser arrangement configured to generate a laser beam, an optical arrangement configured to direct the laser beam toward a dental hard tissue, and a laser controller configured to control a parameter of the laser beam in order to heat at least a portion of a surface of the dental hard tissue to a temperature above 400° Celsius.
Smart multiplexed medical laser system
A system includes a laser catheter and a rotating optical member to receive a laser beam along an optical path and rotate to a selected position to redirect the laser beam from the optical path onto one or more selected optical fibers of a laser catheter, wherein a distal end of the laser catheter irradiates an endovascular structure.
Apparatus for working on eye tissue by means of a pulsed laser beam
For the purposes of working on eye tissue, an ophthalmological apparatus comprises a laser source that is configured to produce a pulsed laser beam, a focusing optical unit that is configured to focus the pulsed laser beam into the eye tissue, and a scanner system for deflecting the pulsed laser beam onto work target points in the eye tissue. The scanner system is configured to guide the pulsed laser beam onto work target points along a scan line that extends across a work line at an alignment angle and to tilt the scan line depending on the work target point on the work line in such a way that the scan line extends substantially along an outer face of a lenticule to be cut in the eye tissue.
Optical Module and Medical Laser Device
The optical module disclosed herein has a first lens, a second lens and an array lens arranged sequentially along the main optical axis. The first lens shapes a beam along the first direction of the main optical axis. The second lens shapes the beam along the second direction of the main optical axis. The array of array lenses is arranged along the second direction. A laser beam enters the second lens after passing through the first lens. The second lens diffuses the laser beam along the second direction. After the laser beam is converted from a Gaussian distribution to a flat-top distribution in the second direction, the laser beam is emitted through the array lens. The first direction and the second direction are perpendicular to each other.
