ADAPTIVE STIMULATION ARRAY CALIBRATION
A mobility augmentation system assists a user's movement by determining a corresponding electrical stimulation for the movement. A wearable stimulation array includes sensors, electrodes, an electrode multiplexer, and a controller that executes the mobility augmentation system. The sensors measure movement data, and the mobility augmentation system applies a movement model to the measured movement data. The model can determine different electrical actuation instructions depending on the movement stimulated. For example, to stimulate a knee flexion, the movement model output enables a first set of the electrodes to operate as cathodes and a second set of electrodes to operate as anodes. To stimulate a knee extension, the first set of electrodes can be enabled to operate as anodes and a third set of electrodes as cathodes. The user can provide feedback of the applied stimulation, which the system can use to retrain the model and optimize the stimulation to the user.
MEDICAL DEVICES AND RELATED SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A medical device may include a lower housing, a printed circuit board (PCB) received within the lower housing, a top housing, two plungers received in gaps within the top housing, and strain gauges mounted to the PCB. The strain gauges may define two polygons aligned with the two plungers. The two plungers may be in contact with the strain gauges such that a force on a plunger is transferred to the strain gauges in contact with the respective plunger. The load magnitude and load location may be determined based on the measured strain of the strain gauges.

Pressure relief mattress and body pressure management system thereof
Disclosed herein is a pressure-relief mattress comprising: a plurality of inflatable bladders; a pressure sensor pad arranged to detect pressure exerted on a subject, the pressure sensor pad comprising a plurality of pressure sensor cells being arranged in a matrix with at least one row and at least one column; a pressure-sensing electronic unit electrically connected with the plurality of pressure sensor cells; and a pressure-control electronic unit communicatively connected with the pressure-sensing electronic unit; wherein the pressure-sensing electronic unit is configured for generating a measurement result indicative of a pressure exerted upon the subject at one or more of the pressure sensor cells, the pressure control electronic unit is configured for controlling operation of one or more of the inflatable bladders according to the pressure measurement result.
DISPOSABLE PRESSURE TRANSDUCER
A pressure transducer assembly is disclosed for directly monitoring pressure in a fluid which flows through the assembly. The pressure transducer can include a housing comprising a flow restrictor, an inlet port, and an outlet port. A poppet can be coupled with the housing. The flow restrictor can be defined by a valve seat of the housing between the inlet port and the outlet port.
Systems and methods for detecting data acquisition conditions using color-based penalties
Systems and methods for detecting data acquisition conditions using color-based penalties can include a computing device obtaining a sequence of images acquired by a photodetector. The computing device can determine, for each pixel position of a plurality of pixel positions associated with the sequence of images, a respective penalty score indicative of a similarity between a color value of a pixel of the pixel position and a desired color value. The desired color value can represent a color property of light emitted from body parts of users when placed opposite to the photodetector. The computing device can determine, using penalty scores of the plurality of pixel positions, a relative position of a body part of a user with respect to a desired position.
Adjustable measurement device
An adjustable measurement device is described that may include a housing, a power supply, a processor, a communication device, an elastic coupling member, a physiological sensor, and/or a clamp. The housing may be configured to attach to a wearable band that is wearable by a subject. The housing may include a chamber within the housing. The power supply, the processor, the communication device, the elastic coupling member, and or the physiological sensor may be disposed within the chamber. The elastic coupling member may couple the physiological sensor to the housing. A force exerted by the elastic coupling member on the physiological sensor may be in a direction through an opening towards a body part of a subject. As the subject wears the wearable band and the housing is coupled to the wearable band, the physiological sensor may be adjacent to or contact the subject.
Systems and methods for blood pressure estimation using smart offset calibration
Systems and methods for blood pressure estimation using smart offset calibration can include a computing device associating a calibration photoplethysmographic (PPG) signal generated from a first sequence of image frames obtained from a photodetector of the computing device with one or more measurement values generated by a blood pressure measurement device different from the computing device. The computing device can obtain a recording PPG signal generated from a second sequence of image frames obtained from the photodetector, and identify a calibration model from a plurality of blood pressure calibration models based on the calibration PPG signal and the recording PPG signal. The computing device can generate a calibrated blood pressure value using the recording PPG signal, features associated with the calibration PPG signal and the identified calibration model.

MAGNETIC JOINT IMPLANT
The application is directed to devices and methods where one or more magnetic or magnetizable implants provides therapeutic benefits to a patient. The implant may be useful for expanding the range of motion of joints or dynamically providing different responses to changing conditions in the body where the implant is placed. An electromagnet is placed on or in a bone on one side of a joint, and another electromagnet or magnetically active material is placed on or in a bone on the opposing side of the joint. The electromagnet may be continuously energized to relieve pressure in the joint space, or may be energized in response to forces applied to the joint.
