BODY FLUID ANALYTE DETECTION DEVICE
A body fluid analyte detection apparatus is provided. Applying a force to a force applying portion of a bottom case in one direction can make the bottom case fail, and then separate the bottom case and a transmitter from each other. Before the bottom case is mounted to a human body, the bottom case is fixed together with a mounting unit by means of a snap-fit portion. Operation steps of a user when separating the bottom case from the transmitter are reduced, and the failure rate of the bottom case before being mounted to the human body is also reduced, thereby improving the user experience, and enhancing the reliability of the body fluid analyte detection apparatus.
Dual pressure sensor aortic-valve catheter
Disclosed is a system and method for in-situ and instantaneous measurement of a pressure gradient by real-time localized pressure measurement with two or more pressure sensors, operating with respect to blood pressure gradient across the aortic valve, or other heart valves, and associated regurgitation of blood flow due to leakage resulting from insufficient valve closure. The system includes a multi-sensor catheter, with sensors arranged along the length of the distal segment of the catheter body, spaced apart to provide simultaneous pressure measurement on either side of the valves of the heart, in addition to one or more lumina in the core of the catheter that will provide a path for introduction of diagnostic fluids which flow out through a multitude of holes in the body of the distal segment of the catheter body.
Medical treatment system using measurement data from multiple sensors
A medical treatment system for determining administration of medications to a patient is disclosed. The system uses a plurality of sensors to perform a first set of physiologic measurements in a right side of the heart and a second set of physiologic measurements in a left side of the heart. The system also includes a receiver configured to receive measurement data regarding the first and second sets of physiologic measurements and output to a display device the received measurement data.
Pressure sensing guidewire assemblies and systems
Pressure sensing guidewire assemblies are described herein where the guidewire assembly may be comprised of an elongate guidewire body and multiple pressure sensors secured near or at a distal end of the guidewire body. The signals obtained from the guidewire connectors and aortic sensor modules may be synchronized to minimize signal acquisition delays. The signals may be further processed to equalize the pressure waveforms by shifting the connector waveform to align correctly with the aortic module waveform and improve output signals.
Medical device provided with sensors
The invention relates to a medical device (12) comprising an electrical measurement circuit (16), in which are connected at least two variable-impedance sensors (22), the impedance of which varies according to a detected physical quantity, an electrical power source (18) for supplying power to the electrical measurement circuit (16), an antenna (18) for emitting an electromagnetic field according to the impedance of the electrical measurement circuit (16), each of the sensors (22) being associated with a switch (24) for interrupting the current supply of the sensor (22) in said measurement circuit (16), the medical device (12) additionally comprising a system (26) for controlling the switches (24) in order to successively control the opening or the closing of the switches (24), according to determined configurations. The medical device (12) may in particular be applied to the human body or implanted within the human body.
Magnetic measurement device for measuring temperature or other property
The invention relates to a measurement device 1 comprising a rotatable magnetic object 4 which can oscillate with a resonant frequency if excited by an external magnetic torque. The measurement device 1 is adapted such that the resonant frequency depends on the temperature or on another physical or chemical quantity like pressure, in order to allow for a wireless temperature measurement or measurement of the other physical or chemical quantity via an external magnetic field providing the external magnetic torque. This measurement device can be relatively small, can be read-out over a relatively larger distance and allows for a very accurate measurement.
Systems and methods for intra-procedural cardiac pressure monitoring
The present disclosure relates to delivery devices and interventional devices configured to enable monitoring of pressure and other hemodynamic properties before, during, and/or after a cardiac procedure. A guide catheter includes a routing lumen or a routing groove for routing a sensor wire to a desired location during a cardiac procedure. A guide catheter includes one or more pressure sensors positioned to provide desired pressure measurements when the guide catheter is deploying an interventional device. An interventional device may also include one or more associated sensors for providing hemodynamic information before, during, and/or after deployment.
INTRACARDIAC PRESSURE SENSOR WITH CLIP STRUCTURE
The present technology relates to intracardiac pressure monitoring devices, and associated systems and methods. In some embodiments, the present technology includes a device for monitoring pressure within a patient's heart. The device can include a pressure sensor configured to reside within a first chamber of a heart of a patient, and a pressure transmission element configured to extend from the first chamber through a septal wall to a second chamber of the heart of the patient. When the device is implanted in the patient's heart, the pressure transmission element is configured to transmit pressure from the second chamber to the pressure sensor residing within the first chamber.
PRESSURE BASED STRUCTURAL HEART ASSESSMENT SYSTEMS AND METHODS
The heart valve assessment systems described herein advantageously provide indicators of a heart valve condition, such as a pressure gradient or a valve regurgitation index. The heart valve assessment systems can provide indicators of a heart valve condition during a heart procedure. A pressure gradient indicates a severity or measurement of the narrowing (or stenosis) of a valve by the increase in pressure behind it. A valve regurgitation index indicates a leakiness measurement of a valve.
STENT GRAFT MONITORING ASSEMBLY AND METHOD OF USE THEREOF
Assemblies are provided for positioning within a lumen comprising a stent graft; and a sensor positioned on the stent graft. Within certain aspects the sensors are wireless sensors, and include for example one or more fluid pressure sensors, contact sensors, position sensors, pulse pressure sensors, blood volume sensors, blood flow sensors, chemistry sensors (e.g., for blood and/or other fluids), metabolic sensors (e.g., for blood and/or other fluids), mechanical stress sensors and/or temperature sensors.
