20220414972 · 2022-12-29 ·

A system, method, and computer program product for predicting, anticipating, and/or assessing tissue characteristics obtains measurement information associated with a parameter of a voxel of tissue of a patient measured at two or more time points, the two or more time points occurring before one or more characteristics of the voxel of the tissue are separable in an image generated based on the parameter of the voxel measured at a single time point of the two or more time points, and determines, based on the parameter of the voxel at the two or more time points, the one or more characteristics of the voxel of the tissue.

METHOD FOR PREDICTING DECOMPENSATION EVENTS IN NASH PATIENTS

Disclosed is a method for predicting a decompensation event in a patient suffering from NASH, including performing a .sup.13C methacetin breath test on a patient; calculating a PDR-peak value of the patient, based on the .sup.13C methacetin breath test; and identifying the patient as having high-risk of developing a decompensation event within 1 year from the performing of the breath test, if the PDR-peak value is at or below a predetermined threshold value; wherein the predetermined threshold value is 15%/h.

Method and apparatus for acquiring motion information

The present disclosure discloses a method and an apparatus for acquiring motion information. A frequency domain transformation is performed on a detection signal of a vibration propagating in a medium to obtain a frequency domain signal, then a signal that is outside of a defined vibration velocity range is removed from the frequency domain signal, that is, only a vibration signal is retained, and then a position-time diagram is obtained along a defined vibration propagation direction. It is not necessary to perform motion estimation on propagation of the vibration by a complicated calculation, and it is only necessary to determine the presence or absence of the vibration by processing in the frequency domain, and then the position-time diagram is obtained, which is a highly efficient method for acquiring motion information.

Magnetic resonance fingerprinting method for recordings with a contrast agent
11573281 · 2023-02-07 · ·

Systems, methods, and computer program products for determining different states of a contrast agent in different types of tissue can involve generating a magnetic resonance waveform for the contrast agent in an examination region that includes multiple tissue types. The contrast agent may have different relaxation-shortening effects in each different tissue type. The generated waveform may be compared to database waveforms to determine the concentration of the contrast agent in each tissue type in the examination region.

Surgical Systems and Devices, and Methods for Configuring Surgical Systems and Performing Endoscopic Procedures, Including ERCP Procedures
20220346637 · 2022-11-03 ·

Embodiments relate to surgical systems and methods. The system includes a main assembly having an IMU subsystem, camera, scope head assembly, and processor. Processor processes images and IMU information, including determining whether images include a distal end of the scope head assembly and a cannulation target. Responsive to a determination that images include the distal end of the scope head assembly, the processor generates 3-dimensional position of distal end of the scope head assembly. When images are determined to include the cannulation target, the processor generates 3-dimensional positions of the cannulation target. Processor also generates predictions of one or more real-time trajectory paths for the distal end of the scope head assembly to cannulate the cannulation target.

Free radical consumption speed information acquisition method and NASH determination method

A method for obtaining an index for non-invasively identifying NASH is provided. A NASH determination method comprising a method for acquiring free radical consumption speed information by non-invasively detecting a redox reaction in a liver of a test animal in real time, comprises a step (1) of obtaining free radical concentration data by applying a magnetic resonance method to the liver as a measurement target after administering a probe into a body; a step (2) of obtaining imaging information by processing the obtained free radical concentration data; and a step (3) of obtaining a free radical consumption speed by kinetically measuring the imaging information over time, and comprises a step of determining whether or not the test animal has NASH, based on the free radical consumption speed information obtained through application to the test animal.
